Hehehe....special as you might be I'd say there is a gulf between the two of you. I think it may takes YEARS of special training to get to his level of special.

Upon discussing the matter with a moderator and reviewing some additional information with particular respect to Mr. Keiths past misdeeds (on this forum and others), I have decided to post any and all information available to me about our formerly resident wacko. I am posting this below, in the first post, and into the thread subject.

Given some sidebar discussions with other forum members, it would seem that he's got a long history of this kind of nonsense so I suggest anyone else who has had a similar experience or has any other info to please post below.

Thanks though I have to say that I didn't do much. Aside from the shipping fees (~$15…), I am not out anything tangible. The goal here is for people to be aware and avoid this clown in the future.

I do think we should nominate this for a hall of shame sticky. This way it'll get the right level of visibility.

Hes gonna have a harder time trying to hose others even in different hobbies. Got to love bladeforums organic Google placement. His name plus " bad" equals top of first page. Guess he can blame himself...maybe he'll learn something....but somehow i doubt it.

I am not going to get into this as everything that needed to be done and said in this thread has been...

The one thing I do want to add is a big thank you to the Mods for dealing with this quickly and appropriately.
 
You seemed to do everything just right. I am happy for you, that you did not suffer loss. I have, on several occasions, had long email conversations with "newbies" that were pointless, and I finally gave up. I still see one of these fellas on quite often, but I stay away from him.
Feedback has obvious advantages, but it's nice also...when we can help out the younger kids...safely.

Got my stuff,apparently you don't know much about knifes, all I did was turn the pivit a hair and it was fine, its ADJUSTABLE!!AND crk is reblasting scales and doing spa treatment free,which I told you I'd pay for,so you have no merit in all the things you said about the knife being in horrible shape to all your cyber buddies, your loss I'm actually glad I got it back Cuz I also have a custom carbon fiber scale for it,that I would've gave you,if anyone was wrong in this it was you and your mouth running,whatever bud....adios

Is this person 12 or just an immature adult???
OR needing to be medicated?
 
I had a guy like this with the exact same knife in question... a chaves 228. Exclaimed that it was his grail and he sent me a "like new" medford... when i wasn't happy, he refused to switch back the trade. Luckily for me the package had no yet made it to the destination so i had the package rerouted :) and sent his back

Or, you know, a low life thief. Since I know the guy is over 30 based on the rest of his presence online, I can say he's not 12. The other options are equally likely.

$20 says its the same guy. He mentioned something like "I almost got one a few months ago but it fell through" this was, of course, followed by 4-5 emails complaining how unfair life is.

Not the same guy, but my guy wasn't too happy and also threatened to call the postal inspector when i did a usps package intercept. I welcomed him to do it and asked how mail fraud sounded on his record and he backed off lol
 
HI Keith is my stepdad/ moms boyfriend. I don’t necessarily use this website but was googling people in my family because I was bored and came across this. I am no expert but from what I hear you take this very seriously. But from this small matter was a whole article really necessary to call out Keith? It’s just a thought. Although i do understand why this upset you I just don’t get why he does these things... I don’t really like my address being shared on the internet though...
