AAAAA+++++ for Liu Kang!

AAA+++ for LiuKang (Dan)! He was a real pleasure to deal with, great communication and VERY fast shipping!:D:thumbup:

Good to see you had a good transaction.
I would have to agree with you that his communication was good, but he sent me a knife that he had multiples of, it had a damaged handle from someone buffing the blade.
When I contacted Dan with this information he was very quick to respond with "have you contacted Scrapyard Knives? They will sought any problems out for you under thier warranty".
He sold a damaged knife as new then tried to push the problem back onto the manufacturer.
Also I recall the postage charge was $15 and the actual postage on the envelope was $5-6.
You would think that he could have checked the condition of the knife before he sent it,considering that he is a knife dealer and I paid using the personal tab (at Dan's request)on Paypal.
I decided to notch this one up to experience and never buy from him again.
Just my experience, thought I would share it with the rest of the community.

Thanks for the information priority. It is a shame it went down that way, especially the shipping charge.a

I just wanted to thank everyone for pointing out this thread, I messaged CHRIS1972 to find out what I had sold him and did a follow up with him and while we were at it, I sold him another knife. So thanks to everyone!

In addition to the $11, i know damn well that knife cost him, under $500, if i had $ on it id say $487 to be exact. But that wasnt the issue, I knew he was making a pretty penny, thats ok cuz I had to have that knife. Sad he was willing to lose a potential customer over $11, A quick $200 profit wasnt enough for him I guess.

Pure greed combined with the complete absence of any moral character whatsoever = Liu Kang.

I've never had the "pleasure" of dealing with Liu Kang because his prices are INSANE.
Seems to have some questionable business practices as well...lying about shipping and insurance costs...that's pathetic.
Not to mention his competitive body-building photos. (Hilarious)

My only experience with Dan was his lowballing tactics. I posted a picture of a Game Warden and my
hinderer FXM. I wasn't even trying to sell it just a comparison post. He told me it was a slow seller and
that $175.00 would be about what I would get. I decided to pass on that offer.

I am sure plenty of others have not been so lucky. Just like he says look at his post count and feedback. If you are new and only looking at that you might not realize you are getting ripped off. It is really a
shame he is allowed to hang out and post and snatch all the knives up at events.

I have had nothing but good experiences with him. I'm a guy who is working constantly like 14 hour days so I don't have time to hang out in the exchange all day and wait for what I'm looking for to pop up so I can post an "I'll take it." Dan is always stocked with good product and although you are paying a little more, you will get what you're looking for (at least in my experience). I'm sorry to hear some of you have had bad experiences with him, I've found that he is highly communicative and and accommodating to the needs of the customer. He's even helping me track down a few pieces that I've been looking for at no additional charge. He's a business man and a good guy in my opinion.

While I have never bought anything from Dan I did do a trade with him a while back. I had no problem with him what so ever. I guess it may be hit or miss. Im sorry to hear how some have had problems with him. I cannot offer anything other than several long pleasant conversations I have had and the one trade we did. All good just as redbeardrob stated.
