acronyms list

Great list LVC. :thumbup:

You could add the....

PK = Piano Key (5 made, I believe for Blade '05. A Thourot/Busse collaboration)
GPK = Grand Piano Key (modded 6" PBF by Mike Thourot)
SD = Scotch Dispenser

∞

Added :D as well as "presentation grade", though it was only used on the NARK's...

LVC

Your list has been on my site since we discussed when I first put it up, let me know if it needs updates.

You can use anything from my site, its for all for us to share.

Greg

some time in the next week I'll go through and mark anything thats been changed in red. thanks!

LVC - I love this list. It will be very helpful! I must however, offer one slight correction to the following: "O.I.N.K. - owners of incredible nuclear knives. the custom shop owners group designation."

On the T-shirt I wore to the Indy 1500 show today, it reads:

Owners of Indestructable Nuclear Knives

Thanks for all the work in posting these items!

now what ever happened to that darn warden .gif... I swore I saved it somewhere on my computer...

Back from the depths, this needs a hearty infusion of new terminology and designations:

What am I missing in this list that's come up in the past 2 years?

pbs=pork belly skinner

3b2= mill over run

is all i can think of right now.

I don't see the BAD or the HS.

I added "boney" in the blade feature designations because it's used to describe a stock thickness, edge geometry and rc, rather then to denote a unique overall design or presentation. You could say "boney fsh" and a person would have an idea of what you were talking about based on the features of the boney ad.

what does hs stand for? high street? I remember a variation of the mean street that had a unique title, but have forgotten what knife it was exactly....

edit: found what the hs was and added it.

It's also worth noting that the high street, while sharing the street name, is probably cut from a Sus Scrofa blank, which would explain the large choil.

It's also a clever way to get rid of any excess SS blanks, since the SS is such a hideous knife :barf: :D

edited. The length of the top thumb ramp does seems longer then would be possible with a lms.

I see you have some, but maybe not all the versions of Hacks on your incredible list.

Hack GW and Hack Meaner .220" ( no pics currently THis maybe the last GW you mentioned in description)

Easton Convex Hacks .170" Reminds me of an OT 152

LVC--- Other Busse models used this handle style. Google, Busse Nuclear EDC, for a pic. Does this help?

The nuclear EDC is like the illegitimate child of a High Street and an AD. I like it!

I wish I had been around to score one at original prices - would make a great knife to carry and use. I'd like one to be made without the DC/satin flame pattern.
