Quick update. Because today was a national holiday our sentencing has been pushed off until Monday. But, we've been allowed to bring her to our house the last 2 days and it's been awesome! She spent 7 hours with us today before we had to bring her back to the orphanage. Poor baby is so far behind in everything. It is so hard to spend a lot of time in the orphanage. It's hard to see how the kids are treated when they have adult attention, and hard to see them be so neglected period. Can't wait to rescue our little girl from this life! Monday can't come soon enough! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. They have been a real encouragement!
Thanks Josiah for the encouraging words!
I've never understood why it is so hard to adopt. I understand being thorough and making sure children are placed in genuine loving homes, but there really are so many families that would adopt but just can't. Congrats on your daughter! We just found out that ours was left in a public park at what they guess was 2 days old. They know nothing about who the possible birth parents are.
Couldn't have said it better myself!
Michael, you are absolutely right! Fiddleback Runt or not, this child is far more precious!
I'm glad that our story can refreshing! It's been a long emotional journey, but worth every moment!
Will do!! We've been showering her with kisses! She is awesome. Very timid, but that is understandable since her whole world is being turned upside down.
That's gotta be tough man. I hope it all works out sooner than later.
Keep on keeping on. Good things happen to good people. I don't know you, but from your posts, it sounds like you and your wife a have a wealth of love in your hearts. Your story is very inspiring. Thanks for sharing your endeavor and good luck with it.

Good luck to you with the adoption. My oldest daughter is adopted. We picked her up as a 2 day old baby 15 years ago. She has been a joy to our lives and certainly has blessed us in many ways. I sincerely hope all goes well for you. I am truly saddened by all the babies in the world that need loving homes and because of bureaucratic BS it is so difficult to match them with loving and sometimes desperate couples. We are all watching with interest...

She is the personification of the love of God. I am so glad that this adoption is moving forward for you both. There are so many children in this world that need loving, caring and safe homes.

Woo hoo! Congrats, man! That sure is awesome. I trust this Friday will live on in memory, whether or not the FB Runt makes it's appearance.

With so much garbage going on in the world, it is refreshing to read such wonderful news!

Awesome news Luke! I'm thrilled for you and your family and your daughter to be.
Hey Luke, this is just incredible news. I am traveling on Friday, else I would shark that Runt for you if you're not available. Enjoy your bonding time with your daughter, and giver her lots of kisses for me.
