AFCK Lovers?

I'm stoked for sure. I had already given up on finding one in good shape anymore. They don't pop up often as time goes by that is certain.
 
No doubt, you really did score on that one.

I think I've seen maybe two come up in the last year or so that were reasonably close to LNIB or very good condition.

They really are hard to come by. Would love to see the pic's when you get it!
 
Does anyone notice the blade touching the liner while deploying on the old liner-lock AFCK's? Just curious, I'm having this problem on a M2HSS. Choosing to ignore it for now, but I wanted to see if this was typical.

Doesnt sound typical. You can try playing w/ pivot, or sending in to BM for service. Is the blade centered? Any play after deployed?
 
No its good after deployed. Talked to Benchmade, they're gonna take care of me. :)

It was never sharpened , acquired in a trade from a BM employee. He said I could send it in and BM would sharpen it if I wanted. Still debating. Pretty cool collection piece as is, not much of a slicer however....I just use it to get olives out of the jar.:)

I wouldn't. That's a rare piece of history and looks great as is; and is prolly worth twice the asking.

I'm sure I can find a tool much better suited then your current one for your olive jar picker / sticker needs? You just let me know and I'll be willing to sacrifice and trade you something more suited to the task at hand.

Ah, I understand now. Color me red. I feel quite foolish...I got it now....Right tool. Of coarse.


Ill let you know how I make out pbcg...thanks for the offer brother :D
