After Sale Lounge

My first CPK was an HDFK and it had AECM handles on it. It has really darkened over the years with use and handling. The fiber orientation is really neat and very unique. After seeing pics, it looks like the VIP is darker than the crusty, but lighter than the AECM. I too, am having a problem deciding on which handles to get on the new EDC. I believe it will be either VIP or the maroon linen ones.

for me, the appeal of ECAM & VIP is not just their apperarance or color.
Nathan said the loadmeter is pointing to aluminum hardness zone when he worked with them, I assume then they will be harder and somewhat more durable, though I probably wont be able to tell in my normal usage (Joe X or that Rasmus Quantavious might 😁)

The lighting here sucks and it’s also cloudy outside. The regular vip varies a lot in color, at least mine. The crusty vip is getting close in looks to the ecam. The ecam are the two at the bottom purchased separately from Mrs. Carothers. In the line up left to right are 2 regular vip and burlap in the middle. Next two are regular vip and last crusty, all buffed.

Av. of ~2 posts per sec in the first minute. The 20 knives sold in much less than 10".

I'm posting it manually and my clock might be different than the server.

I posted it, and then hit refresh, and within that 10 second span, there were over 100 posts. That's 10 posts per second, not two.

I'm pointing this out because I believe it is a forum record, so I want to set the record straight.

Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist - That doesn’t mean my numbers were wrong. I said average. Your and my statement combined means there were 100 posts in the first 10” + delta and 16 posts in the following 50” - delta, where delta is your latency.

Impressive either way.

Well yeah. I mean your math works out and what you're saying is literally true, but what I told my mom was way more awesomer

Blimey, and here I am hoping I can get one CPK!

I’d like to reach out and thank all involved for recently cleaning up a pile of extra sheaths and scales. Hope those items serve you all well.

Also, there’s a “new to CPK” member floating around named SweetPete SweetPete . I’ve gotten to know Pete and recently sold a CPK to him. He’s reliable, punctual, and friendly. Buy from, sell to, or interact w/ confidence. Pete’s a solid guy.

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar! I truly appreciate the kind, yet slightly exaggerated words! 😆 Also for being willing to answer all my dumb noob questions to learn more about these awesome blades. 🤝
