Wait, the MC is also going to be up for pre-order on the 3rd as well? Nathan's stickied 1st post in "The NEXT SALE" thread only mentioned the LC going up then.

After having typed that I then went and checked today's Friday sale thread and it mentions both a Light Chopper and a Medium Chopper pre-order.

Elsewhere I see others thinking it was going to be some light/medium chopper design, like a singular knife that's a fusion of the two.

In the ANAQ thread the back and forth between yoko yoko and Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist didn't really clarify if it's one or two knives. Whatever it is, it seems to be a new design based on Nathan's latest post there.

Has it ever been clearly confirmed by Nathan what this 1/3 pre-order is? Seems to be two separate knives and I'm guessing they're both updated designs?

I haven't caught up on CPK news in awhile so if this was ever clearly stated somewhere before, I evidently missed it.

Can anyone provide any clarification and certainty?

It was going to be a light chopper pre-order.

We are in production of the light chopper now.

However, it occurs to me that we might not have bought enough material. I have enough steel here to make 350 and that might not be enough because half of the knives go to the pre-order and half go to the Friday sales and it's possible that's not enough steel for both.

If I'm going to roll more steel, they may as well roll some heavier gauge material and we can do the medium chopper also. The fixturing and setups are similar so it makes sense to do both.

Yes, as the one and only and the original #stillnotnathan, I can tell you with utmost certainty that Nathan will be very clear in his pre-order OP, with a CAD image stating that, "this is probably what the CPK-(insert moniker) will not look like".

I hope that you find this answer exacting to what you were looking for 🤙
