After Sale Lounge

Sorry you're going through this. My father passed four years ago and aside from one thing he had everything set up in advance. Thankfully, my sister and I are amicable, sorting that one thing out (a conversation he meant to have with us and feel it out but never did) and the resolution I think he wanted all along should be realized in a few more years.

Can't imagine having to wade through those things at the 11th hour like you guys are.

I've made it clear that I expect nothing, want nothing and don't intend to wrangle over anything. As far as I'm concerned, my sisters can have anything and everything that they may want. I have no intention of getting into any wrestling matches.

My father made his wishes known before he passed several years ago, and I have no desire to go through that experience again.

We have a literal deathbed handwritten will. What a mess.

People, get your affairs in order. Try harder.

I so agree with this sentiment. I watched my mom go through nine years of probate hell when my dad died in his late 40's with no legal estate plan in place. I have personally seen a number of families torn apart when the deceased relative failed to leave a written will and/or trust to prevent jealous bickering among family members about assets and stuff.

Guess what? We are all going to die someday! The best gift you can leave your family and heirs is a formal legal trust that prevents a lot of extra grief for those who are left behind. That is way more important than talking about who is going to get this or that special knife from your collection that they probably won't appreciate anyway.

Rant over.

Making arrangements and dealing with legal an financial complications while saying goodbye to the loved ones is hard.
It's like a one-two punch, it interferes with grieving process.
One might find solace in being able to take this burden from those affected the most.
I am sorry you have to go through all this.

I received an email from Jo about the last Friday sale ( invoice sent). I never get the invoice from PayPal. I have to ask Jo to send a link.

Do any of you have any idea what I may have wrong or can change that would stop this from happening?

The invoice will come from AIM Industrial (prodeseng at hotmail), so you might want to check your Spam folder.

Also, protonmail is down this morning if that matters to you.

I ended up spazzing at the keyboard and didn't perform as smoothly as I'd hoped. First time problems I guess.
Being #39, is it even worth sending an email still in case things don't work out with some of the above posters?
Was hoping for a BFK which there are supposedly plenty of so not sure if I have any chance at this run or should just hope for the next.

Sometimes people pass after being in the top numbers, so there may be a chance. Nathan stated previously the BFK will be an ongoing model, so it should be available again (that is what I was after today).

Was it just me, or did the preorder not open until closer to 6:01?

I began refreshing the page right after the Casio’s Atomic Clock sync’ed time said 6:00:01. Refreshed 4 times (and boy, were they slow), but right before the 4th refresh at ~6:00:50, it still said ā€œNot open for repliesā€.

After the 4th refresh, I was finally able to post, but wound up at #61 šŸ˜†

Yeah I was still checking it for typos and Jo said, "you know it's 5:00?"
