Photos Agents of SHIELD - Your Favorite Traditional Knife Shields

The double square with wings is my favorite of the RR's especially on more "working" knife patterns. Reminds me of something from the late 40's-50's
:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for bringing them over GT... I like the double-bomb :):thumbsup:
You're welcome. :) Thanks for starting the thread! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: I appreciate a thread like this to get me paying attention again to the variety of shields my knives have. :thumbsup:;)

Once again... Awesome group of canoes GT!
Thanks, Dwight. :) I haven't gotten around to posting my appreciation (and curiosity :rolleyes:) yet, but you recently posted a couple of new-to-me versions of canoes in the Rough Rider thread! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good 'ol Uncle Henry shield...

Love EVERYTHING about that knife, including the shield! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I think SAKs are traditional, and I think the logo is a shield, so I'm gonna post some Vic pics here. ;)
This photo shows at least 3 variations of the Victorinox cross:

Here are a couple more variations on a 1986 Soldier and on a Cadet 2:

Wow that's a cool shield and knife Will! :thumbsup:

Thanks, a Saddlehorn type from Bulldog in Cell.

Unfortunately, it's no more :( I made the mistake of having it re-handled and the material, shield and quality were certainly not what I expected...:rolleyes: Ah well, perhaps it can be re-handled again...

Two of my favorites. Certain shields have helped "tip the scales" on some purchase decisions. The Krack a Jack is the only knife I bought solely for the shield....though the rest of the knife ain't bad either.

The battle axe is also a really cool shield, imo.

I totally get it, the very first picture I posted at the start of this thread I bought for that barlow shield LoL :):thumbsup: It helps that knife was made by Camillus though ;)
