Ain't no Sunshine When She's Gone (Goodbye)

Alright, as promised, I will close this thread. My parents and I have talked a little more about this situation. I know that some of you might feel a little deceived by what I'm about to say, but it's not the most comfortable thing to tell strangers.

I have had Depression for the past 8 years (and yes it is genetic). So my parents believe that I should apply my time into something that is fulfilling, and they do not believe that knife collecting would ever be fulfilling (I'll just restart that when I'm on my own). I'm at a low point emotionally as well right now, but I am working it out with a professional again.

So until I get my life back on track, I'm going to be doing all the knife things that I should've been doing instead of using it as pocket jewelry:

I'll try to cook more often, carve wood into fantastical shapes, and sharpen A LOT (I don't like the way that the combo edge is on some of our steak knives, who in their right minds puts serrations in the FRONT of the knife?)

Thank you all for listening to me whine about how I should probably be living on my own, and actually caring. I'll be back shortly after I reprofile every kitchen knife and its mother to 40 degrees inclusive lol. It is always a joy to be a part of this community:p!

And on that note, I declare this thread CLOSED. DEAD. MUERTE. מת!:D
