Please be advised that numerous members of this forum and elsewhere have had both deposits and full fees collected by Al Polkowski with no product delivered or monies refunded. This unethical and illegal practice has been reportedly taking place for nearly two years. In addition, there are numerous posts on websites documenting failures to communicate with clients by email or phone.

Neither illness, substance abuse, nor death are excuses for the continued taking of monies or non-return of funds by an individual or estate if products or services cannot be rendered.

A federal US Code 1340 Wire Fraud complaint has been filed against
Al Polkowski.

The bad news, most of those who have given money to Al Polkowski will probably never see their money nor a product.

The good news, Al Polkowski or his heirs will one day answer to a federal magistrate.

Al Polkowski displayes the twin dolphins of a naval submariner on his website. Submariners are men of honor. Al Polkowski is not.

Is that similar to Title 18, United States Code, Section 1341?

There are so many under Federal Law, how about just a theft charge under State Law?

I heard he had some health or family issues about a month back give or take. I know those things can really throw a maker off schedule. I've emailed him a couple times and haven't received a response back yet. Voice call goes to a full mailbox.

i sure hate to hear this, he's always been square with me, its been a while though, seems like he was sick maybe?

hopefully, he is gonna get this taken care of,

i've dealt with Al for nearly 18 years now,he always struck me as a honorable person,i'm very surprised to read this about him.

Unless he's actually physically incapacitated himself that's no excuse, for not sending a simple email.

I too have been duped by Al Polkowski. He was right there with emails and calls when I orderd my knife and sent him my deposit. Soon as he got the deposit all correspondence stopped. He refused to answer emails or calls. I hope no one else falls victim to Al Polkowski.

Never noticed this before, but he does have a Facebook page and seems to be online a couple times a week at least. Maybe try him there since nothing else is working at this point...

care to provide a link to his FB page? I searched all the person profile pages for Polkowskis and didn't see anyone matching.

Not sure how to do the whole link thing, I just typed Al Polkowski in on the facebook people search thing and he pops right up at the top. Has a picture of a sailboat right now as his profile pic.

that's weird, I searched by first name last name, just last name, first initial last name, etc. and nothing came up. Then again, it is my wife's account so who knows what's up with it.

I'm very surprised and disappointed to hear this. I know Al has had health problems and my dealings have always been OK. This is very sad.

The Face book page, has links to Al's website! That is why I thought it was his page. OOPs, those are web links. Dam sorry about that.
Never mind.
