Albers Cutlery Company

I think I had a better chance when there was just a page or two for this thread, but still didn't manage to nab one. Ditto about the tire iron.

Once again my email hit my inbox over an hour after the drop. Oh well. Lord knows i need a new knife like a tire iron to the side of the head.

Another stunning knife from Eric!

I see folks like those beautiful covers, but what keeps catching my eye in those photos is that gorgeous consistent blade edge grind, and the nice crisp sharp blade tips! Those knives are made for cutting stuff!

I don't have one of the Albers Cutlery brand knives, but I do have one example of Eric's handiwork - the "Eric's Jack" he did for us back when Canal Street was still around - the runner-up forum knife from several years ago. Beautiful knife - best example of a stag handle I have ever seen (for my preferences, which are relatively evenly matched slabs, not too fat, relatively smooth).

So this is a pre-Albers Cutlery era, Albers-made knife :)
