Maybe some day Eric will create a list. When your name comes up you get a knife.
I can only dream.

I am of the belief that if he went to a list system he would be booked out for years at this point. His craftsmanship and choices of materials are that good without question.

I see folks like those beautiful covers, but what keeps catching my eye in those photos is that gorgeous consistent blade edge grind, and the nice crisp sharp blade tips! Those knives are made for cutting stuff!

I don't have one of the Albers Cutlery brand knives, but I do have one example of Eric's handiwork - the "Eric's Jack" he did for us back when Canal Street was still around - the runner-up forum knife from several years ago. Beautiful knife - best example of a stag handle I have ever seen (for my preferences, which are relatively evenly matched slabs, not too fat, relatively smooth).

So this is a pre-Albers Cutlery era, Albers-made knife

The Beef and Snake woods, and Cornhusks look very interesting & purty, but I'll stick with Ebony, Ivory and Popc - - - -errr, Stag!!

That jigging really reminds me of one of the popular old Sheffield jigging styles

My ridgeline came in today! Unfortunately I dropped it in the driveway!! it was in the bag so the damage was minimal. Just a little scuff on the pile side bolster.
