I got lucky and picked up my 2nd Albers. The action on this thing is oh so sweet. Halfstop to fully open rings with a hard snap, just the way I like it. The fit and finish is really nice. I'm not sure where Eric comes up with all of these cover materials (Australian Beefwood ), but they certainly compliment his workmanship. Nice job Eric!

I’m normally not a fan of wood covers but the grain on the beefwood is fantastic. Here’s a pic of my first and only Alber’s knife (so far) in thick whitetail. The popcorn and thickness make it the perfect worry stone.

Love seeing the mail calls from the recent run. His jigging looks fantastic. Beefwood is not a cover material I’ve seen but it looks great. Anyone have other knives with this cover or is this a material that’s not used often for covers?

Are these Albers usually dropped monthly or bi-monthly? I missed the last two, and was curious if I should expect something soonish or if they are random. I’m on the email list, I’m just curious if anyone knows a pattern.
