I really enjoy the Albers fixed blade. I’d like to see one with thin ground stock in the future. I think that would be the bee’s knees!

I've had my cocobolo clip with me on just about every hike this winter. It makes such a solid, svelte carry. Here's a shot from Black Rock Mountain before starting down the James Edmonds Trail.

Great hat and Albers Jack! I grew up in Omaha which is where Bob Gibson was from. Got to meet him one summer when I was 10 or 11 at our neighborhood swim pool. The thing I remember most was how BIG his hands were. My dad told me that he was at the time the best pitcher in baseball. It was 67 or 68. Years later I got to live in U-City and spent the one year with my girlfriend (future wife) there. Spent the summer of 81 going to Cardinal games and was at the one when Gary Templeton flipped off a bunch of women on Ladies Day. Whitey Herzog went ballistic!
