Great hat and Albers Jack! I grew up in Omaha which is where Bob Gibson was from. Got to meet him one summer when I was 10 or 11 at our neighborhood swim pool. The thing I remember most was how BIG his hands were. My dad told me that he was at the time the best pitcher in baseball. It was 67 or 68. Years later I got to live in U-City and spent the one year with my girlfriend (future wife) there. Spent the summer of 81 going to Cardinal games and was at the one when Gary Templeton flipped off a bunch of women on Ladies Day. Whitey Herzog went ballistic!
They talk about that day every year in the post dispatch. Led to my favorite trade for Ozzie.

A friend of ours at the time was Scott Dine. He was a photographer for the Dispatch and a great guy. He didn’t usually cover sports but got sent to that game and took the pic seen in the paper the next day.

Conrad, that's a really great matched pair, there, for being different materials. At least, I think they're different. If the one on top isn't Hempwood, can you identify it?
Top one is the dyed blue/green maple burl one from 2-3 drops ago😎
