It wasn’t even really planned as this is my nightly. But I agree in hindsight!

It’s slowly morphed into my favorite year around cocktail. Used to be just for Spring-Fall, but I really prefer one over a whisky-based cocktail.

I got my Afzelia Burl in the mail this morning. The wood is absolutely beautiful, and the fit and finish are great.

If I’m nitpicking, the pull is a bit light for my preference, particularly compared to some of my other Lambsfoot knives. (It’s also lighter than the pull on Eric’s clip point jacks, and maybe a bit less snappy, too, though that’s kind of hard to compare because the clip points have a half stop and the Lambsfoot doesn’t.) The blade could be ground a bit thinner behind the edge, and it’s not as easy to pinch open as I’d like.

Of course, those are all personal preference, and very minor criticisms. I’m happy to have an Albers Lambsfoot. Thanks for these great knives, Eric!
