I don’t think it has been done, but a lambsfoot with a punch secondary instead of a pen blade secondary would be pretty awesome.

Couldn't resist the history behind the Vintage Burgandy Linen Micarta. Looking forward to it!

Does anyone know if the Burgandy Linen Micarta from the first drop of fixed blades was the same material? I got one from the first drop, but don't recall the historic description. Got mine out this morning and they look identical. I agree with AnW AnW , makes the knife that much more special.

Adam, yes that was the same, I forgot to mention it on that drop. Here's a canvas micarta block I wasn't able to use due the the holes drilled in it. I should be able to do some folders with it though. They used the micarta for a lot back then, everything from drilling blocks to tooling fixtures but strangely the knife handle idea didn't come around 'till much later. This block was likely from a fixture but I have no idea which. Once the fixtures became obsolete they were taken apart and the parts salvaged for other things.

Below is another piece of linen that saw a lot of use on what I think was a cutting fixture. This was from the Walden era as well, while the above canvas examples were from the post Walden era in Ellenville before they moved to the larger shop:

My first Albers. Excellent fit & finish. Nice size IMHO. Wicked sharp. Love the Ironwood.

Pretty darned pleased with this one! If you’re on the fence folks grab one while they’re still available. Well done Eric!

That red micarta looks nice.

I almost went for the green/ coyote/ black micarta, but I'm a fan of nice Ironwood so that swayed my choice.

Looking forward to others posting pics of theirs as they arrive.

that micarta looks awesome, Eric has done a great job on these fixed blades  , I was tempted to pull the trigger with the curly purpleheart, it's a beauty but the size is not for me, my ideal fixed blade overall size to edc is around 6 1/2" or less

I eyeballed that Buffalo Horn quite a bit before going for the Micarta. It looks great! I also finally carried my Sarsparilla Folder last week for several days. It's a bit thicker than the other covers that I have and really feels nice in the hand. I'd say you've got three great ones!

By the way, if anyone missed out on an Ironwood FB, you may want to check his site.
