Albers Cutlery Company

I'm pretty sure the world wide web is going to crash when the Lambfoot knives are released. I can hardly wait.

That looks phenomenal, such character! Cork oak is such a cool material... You can harvest large sections of the bark (the actual cork) every ten years or so and it will regenerate. I think you can do that like a dozen times without causing any damage to the tree. Cork trees that are harvested also pull something like ten times more CO2 out of the air than not harvested Cork trees. I believe it uses the carbon to regenerate the bark. Just a really cool, useful material. :)
The cork oak is interesting. I swear, I learn of a new type of wood with every release 😆

Thank you Charlie! No suffering involved, it's a labor of love! 😁 😁

Making progress. Got the buffing done ( the pic) and almost done with washing. Tomorrow I do the edging and barring any issues they'll be done! Next I have to see about flattening out a wildebeest horn🤔

For a one man show you are sure cranking out some fine knives in decent volume! Continued best wishes to you and your success.

Love the cork!! 😍 so if I were to try and go for one of these besides having the notifications setup and account already setup how quick do I need to be? Do these sell out as fast as GEC?

Faster than me. Lots faster. Really, really fast. Getting a GEC is a walk in the park in comparison. I'm think it's great! If these were easier to get, I'd have, like, a dozen of them w00t.gif

I don't need a dozen, or two, of them :p

If you're not fast enough, post a wtb/trade add. I got mine by trading for it.

These latest ones look superb - I really like that red burl. It's going to make for a striking knife.

I'll be sitting this run out as I'm quite pleased with my Stag jack so best of luck to you all. I am holding out for the Lambsfoot and the 2-blade versions (maybe one in Ebony of any configuration....).

Eric- usually your work is out if this World and pretty much can’t be topped - but with this batch I think you have raised the standard once again.
