So who else has some Bucklites to share... Or can tell us anything about them... Thanks ...

This 422 had been in the knife case at a local gunshop for about 20 years, I've seen it, but never considered buying a Bucklite as I prefer traditional handle and bolster materials. The shop owner is a buddy of mine, just before Christmas I asked him how much he wanted for the knife - he gave it to me! I also have the faded box that the camo sheath was stored in all these years. OH

This Bucklite 112 was bought in new condition, missing the pouch and box, from a collection of estate sale stuff at a local pawn/gun/hardware this past week. ITE, educate me - it looks to me like the Bucklite 422 & the Bucklite 112 are the exact same knife with different tang stamps. OH

OH, they are the same knife, they are Bucklites... Some times Buck runs out of 422 blades and use 112 Blades... Same with 426s(110s) and 424s(501s)...
Dave M and Fritz's know alot about Bucklites to... Maybe they will tell us more about them... ITE

OH, thanks for sharing a picture of your new orange 422 with a 112 blade... Very nice... ITE ...

ITE, thanks for the education on the model number differences on these knives - guess that creates more variations for collectors. I don't "collect" Bucklites, but I seem to have started "accumulating" them recently! I think I'm going to carry the black one in my old pouch - it was used in the gunshop over the years for opening shipping boxes, so I already needed to touch up the blade - it long ago lost its pristine status. OH

Old Hunter, I think your going to like using your 422... I've been using one for years... I been trying to get a few more that I can use in my collection but the price of them on line are way to much... 65$ - 75$ for some of them (I can buy a Gold etch 110s for that price)... There just plastic handles... You can't do anything with plastic... Not like 110s, 112s and so on... I guess more guys are liking them, more now... There really a great knife... I'm glad they made lots of them... email me some time, I need to ask you something... Anyway, I hope you enjoy using your Bucklite... ITE ...

Thanks Haebbie, for posting that cool picture of your yellow handle 425 Bucklite on here with all the other Bucklites...
I still need yellow and green... ITE...

ITE, I would guess Clemson Tigers for the orange 422, but it could be Detroit Tigers - they use some orange too. The marble is very eyecatching - never seen one before. OH

422s are great knives! I've got a well-used one from the 80s, green handles, faded-but-still-strong camo sheath. Tough knife.

Also picked up an almost new 422, same era/model/colors, at the auction site. Even a few years ago, I didn't over-pay, but I didn't get it for a bargain, either.

Very popular knife, superb Buck craftsmanship, which is saying something, given the handles are plastic. They got it right.

OH, you got it... Clemson Tigers, I have one in my collection with the logo on the blade some where... The marble one, is the only one I know of...
I hope to find more colors Bucklites someday... I'm always looking for more Bucklites... If you or anyone else see any that you don't want, Please
let me know...Thanks to all of you who send me e-mail about bucklites... You guys are great... Thanks again, ITE ...
