All about Bucklites and Selector's & 110's & 112's LTs and Slims ...

I saw a couple of pictures of Rangerlites earlier in the thread. Let me add mine. 1986 stamp. Unfortunately, I no longer have the box nor the red sheath. Home flooded back in 1995 and we lost a lot - including box and sheath. This was a working knife for many years until it, and I, retired.

Who else has some Bucklites to share here on the forum... Thanks... :)

I went ahead and peened the pin on my 444 (acquired well used), and it feels great! I really love the blade on this knife, with its flowing drop point and sharp tip. Bucklites are the peasant knives of the Buck product line, like sodbusters and Opinels. I think they're awesome.

Bucklite 112 from 2000, work day on the farm. I carry it in a Buck 450 100th Anniversary, heavy-duty nylon sheath - super lightweight combination for belt carry. OH

You are welcome Armand, my pleasure.

Guys, all I can say is go ahead and get one - unbelievably light on the hip for such a good size blade. OH

Nice Collection. I have really liked the Bucklite II knives I have had, and was pleased to see them offered briefly on the Buck website - unfortunately, they are not listed right now.

You have many Bucklites that have brightly colored handles. I think these have advantages of being easy to locate when dropped and seem less "threatening" to non-knife people. Do you know if the Bucklite II was ever made with orange or yellow handles? That is one knife I would really like to find.

If this pic will post, here is a Bucklite that is on it's second life! Picked it up at a flea market for $10 because it was "close" to my first knife that I carried for around 15 years and was stolen. The previous knife was an 84-86ish model. This one is a 1988. Like I said, it's on it's second life and was a little used up when I bought it. Sent it to Idaho and it now has a 2012/ 112 Ranger blade. I had put the pocket clip on it through the lanyard hole, but have since removed it. A Bucklite just feels right rattling around with your keys.

Hello Faiaoga, so are talking about the 2nd Generation Bucklites... What models... They did make the 422 and I think the 424 and 426 1st Gen
in orange and the 2nd Gen 422, 424 and the 426 in orange... Or are you talking about the 3rd Generation Bucklites... Like a 442, 444 or a 446...
Buck did make some clear red, blue and I think clear orange 442s handles ones...
I don't know much about the 3 Generation Bucklites yet...

Here's two 412's one has brass rivets and one has stainless steel rivets... Two different years, maybe that's why....
Thanks to Oregon, I look at all the rivets on all Bucklite knives...
