Here's one to turn back the clock just a little, CoOp Knife Co., Walden NY (1870-1874) jack with just a bit of the original etch still visible. The company name was changed to Walden Knife Company in 1874 :

I wonder if the cutler who made that particular knife would be surprised to know that after 140 plus years, (a) a sample of his skill still exists, and (b) it still has a lot of blade left; not sharpened down anywhere near a "toothpick".
Very impressive knife.
