All-Metal Knives

A Joseph Rodgers.
The backsprings on this one are very strong, I think that it will be somewhat unsafe to try opening the knife when you have cold, wet hands.
This will probably be no big deal for an experienced cold water sailor though LOL.
Cheers.

that's interesting. Please tell us more :

It's made by Kutmaster and it's called a "rooster nutter." I'll let you google what it's used for, cuz this is a family forum!

Wow!! I thought this thread would peter out at about two pages!!
Thanks to everyone for all the contributions!!

There are a lot of metal handled knifes out there! From tough work knives, to decorative penknives, to advertising and "gifty" decorated knives!!

In this one, the top knife is a precious gift style, with silver handles adorned with a real gold Bear - designed by Albert Baer of Imperial Schrade fame.
It comes (came) in a velvet bag, inside a presentation box.

Why, that reminds me.

Here's ptradeco's excellent thread, Embossed Advertising and Figural Knives.

I keyed in on this knife, for reasons toolful but especially feline:

This is my favorite by far, especially with the tool selection.

The cat's back feet are doing some interesting things (image rotated for cat clarity):

Here are a couple of shots of a pretty unique knife that I have.

It is marked "William Rodgers Sheffield"

I have never seen another one like it, nor any with the unusual locking system.

Thanks for the info  I don't think I need to Google that!

I love this beauty! Wish I had one in my toolbox.

Thanks, it's a shame the blades are so worn. My Great Grandmother and Grandmother, and much later my brother's Godfather worked at Chesterman's :)

Very nice Charlie. I was looking through this thread with ADEE yesterday, he has a load of interesting metal-handled knives, hoping he'll figure out how to post pics! ;)
