Technically, it would be Central Canada. Not Far North, but the beginning part of the North. So it's Southern Canada :^D
I was born above 52NTechnically, it would be Central Canada. Not Far North, but the beginning part of the North.
Three-ish hours south of me, winter temps get to -20 with wind chill at the coldest.
Where I am, -45 to -60 with wind chill.![]()
Yup. Nice and chilly at 52N. Any further than where I am and the temps pretty much stay the same, but last longer.I was born above 52N
So 45N is deep South to me :^))
BTW -Montreal is 45N just few steps up of US border
But maybe nice knives grows there ...
Well…one sled hit a tree at 10mph…and did more damaged than one would have thought. The other hit a telephone post around 70mph and I was surprised that it didn’t blow up.Super rad brother! Your work keeps getting better and better! What “incident” took out your sleds last year? Nothing about being a go fast junkie right?![]()
Well, you are in luck! Haha. I’ll let the cat outta the bag now.I think I need one of those little sheaths for my forum knife
Well gee, thanks for ruining the surprise.Well, you are in luck! Haha. I’ll let the cat outta the bag now.
I am planning on making sheaths for the BF21 Barlow knife. They will be discounted as my way of saying thank you to all you guys here at BF.
The plan is jet black sheaths with rust (brownish-red) colored thread. Could possibly have some tooling as well. I’m still mulling it over in my brain.
Edit to add: I’m hoping to pick up a BF Barlow on the Canadian drop. If not, I’ll have to see if I can borrow one of the Canadian guys knife so I can get the fit just perfect.
I will most likely open a thread and get some input on design before making the proto for you all to see.
Thank you for your interest! It is appreciated.
