All Things Sharp & Fiery...and Friends!

Sharp and Fiery - please tell your wife that we said SHE ROCKS!!! Your leather designs are most interesting. Your stitching is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you for your kind words. ☺️ Glad you like ‘em.

And yes, she does ROCK. :)

Looks great.. Nice work!!!
Thanks! It should really pop once the blasted areas are done for a third texture. Currently fiddling with the clip, spiffing it up a bit to match.

Blackened the clip, then sanding it back out to leave some black highlights... then some gold touches and maybe a hammered panel on that 45° angled area🤔

Spent Saturday continuing to get the old girls back in running shape. Last year we had a couple incidents that left both these sleds with busted front ends.

Got one back together, and rewired the other. Fingers crossed for one more above 0° weekend to finish the rest up.

Above is the rat’s nest the last guy who tried to rewire it left for me. Now, all new waterproofed and crimped connections. :)

Technically, it would be Central Canada. Not Far North, but the beginning part of the North. :)

Three-ish hours south of me, winter temps get to -20 with wind chill at the coldest.
Where I am, -45 to -60 with wind chill. 🥶
I was born above 52N
So 45N is deep South to me :^))

BTW -Montreal is 45N just few steps up of US border
But maybe nice knives grows there ...

Yup. Nice and chilly at 52N. Any further than where I am and the temps pretty much stay the same, but last longer.

Until you go Far North, and the Territorys. Now those are super long cold winters. No thank you. Haha!

Super rad brother! Your work keeps getting better and better! What “incident” took out your sleds last year? Nothing about being a go fast junkie right? 🤣😂

Well…one sled hit a tree at 10mph…and did more damaged than one would have thought. The other hit a telephone post around 70mph and I was surprised that it didn’t blow up. 🤣😂 Went flipping down the trail and into the bush, stopping upside down. Enough damage though, and my brother escaped without a scratch.

Also, thank you for the kind words, Mr. Murph. ☺️

Got the clip finished up last night...

Started on the lock side, here's the two burrs that handle the majority of the background removal.

I think I need one of those little sheaths for my forum knife
Well, you are in luck! Haha. I’ll let the cat outta the bag now.

I am planning on making sheaths for the BF21 Barlow knife. They will be discounted as my way of saying thank you to all you guys here at BF.

The plan is jet black sheaths with rust (brownish-red) colored thread. Could possibly have some tooling as well. I’m still mulling it over in my brain. :)

Edit to add: I’m hoping to pick up a BF Barlow on the Canadian drop. If not, I’ll have to see if I can borrow one of the Canadian guys knife so I can get the fit just perfect.

I will most likely open a thread and get some input on design before making the proto for you all to see.

Thank you for your interest! It is appreciated.
