Exactly. If you are going to introduce yourself to a forum X by flaming forum Y in your first post, and then using your 3rd post to call posts in forum X stupid....you really ought to do that in forum X's member introduction forum.

No idea who bryan is, but you should acquaint yourself with the rules. Cross forum nonsense is not tolerated. All forums are owned by someone, so they are all private sites.

I know you think you're not starting a flame thread about the other forum, but you've specifically asked people who have had problems with another forum to voice what those problems are. That's just asking for trouble and it borders on trollish behavior, whether you think so or not. On top of that, it's just not good form to go onto this forum, solely to talk about another forum, especially another one that covers the exact topic as this one, ie a competing forum. You're drawing attention to that competing forum and you're asking others to talk about their negative experiences there. From your average person-who-doesn't-know-you's perspective, you look like a teenager that got his feelings hurt and is now looking for validation for his actions by attempting to draw a mob.
No one likes the idea of getting the boot just because some forumite with too much mod power had a sensitive ego. That much should be fairly obvious. If you value the possibility of growing here and not ending up in a similar situation, I suggest you get over it, move on and get back to the discussions that we're all here for- knives and edc related stuff. If you're mature enough to recognize this, you'll notice this is not an attack on you in the least.

We have new people join here every day, young and older with varying interest and degrees of experience. We see the same subjects brought up over and over again. Those who think that is a bad or stupid thing need to think again.
