On the train to work. This is going to be interesting. Doing 14 hours today. The nice thing, it's downtown Chicago. The bad thing about that is, no steel on my hip. I felt naked when getting ready. I have my 11 on a beaded chain. But still nothing on my hip, no boomstick in the bag either. Just feels, odd.

That looks sweet! Haven't used a Machax yet. If that's in the sheath for the 9, then where is said 9?
Looks like you're really gonna enjoy that thing!
 
All this talk about the newer RTAK II's made me kinda want one, but after I buy the knife and the kydex for it I'm only $30 less than a Junglass. Maybe I just need to make my older RTAK II my main woods blade and hope it breaks and that Ontario will replace it with a new one.
 
Thats what id do. Id use it hard as i could, within reason of course, and if it breaks you have the chance at the newer designed one, if it doesnt break then you have a great knife anyway and can continue to use it without any worry.
 
Finally got around to swapping out the starter on my K5. Think I figured out where I went wrong with the last one. Oh well, they're like $30.
 
It's snowing. Hope some of it sticks up North of here for gun-deer season.
 
Just finished making myself a new knife sharpener. I took a foam block and hot glued different grit sandpapers to it.

Im not sure how long it will last, but for now its working great.

Said 9 was a Camillus version. It broke in two during the chopping competition at BeckerWest...its getting replaced with a laser etched Ka-bar version. :thumbup:

I have a new BK9 sheath coming from 710, so I think I'll dedicate the Kelley Customs to the BK4.
 
I need me a 9!!!!

I keep waiting for one to come up on the trade section. Too close to XMAS to buy it now.
