Oh, if I had gone through the ER it definitely would have been a different story! Luckily, for a planned inpatient stay they're pretty relaxed. And they give you cream cheese in foil packets that are damned near impenetrable without some form of cutting tool, and I ain't eating no dry, plain, hospital bagels. Now that is one cool hospital!!
Try that here in NJ......you’ll get a very different reaction!!
Went to the ER couple weeks ago and forgot I had my Advocate in my pocket.
When they admitted me and saw the knife they had security come in and put it in the ‘weapon’ safe till I left.
Ugh

Surroundings, actions, and knife being used make all the difference.
Definitely.I think the biggest thing is actually using it for a suitable purpose.
Using a knife=it is a tool.
Standing around flicking a knife open and closed in public=you're a tool.
Saw a guy in Ottawa flicking his assisted opening knife open and closed, open and closed over and over again, while standing on the sidewalk of a busy street downtown.
It did not make him look cool.
But it sure beats playing with himself in public.I think the biggest thing is actually using it for a suitable purpose.

A card with this printed on it should be inserted into each knife box that leaves the store.

Jersey... the state they'll arrest and prosecute you if law enforcement finds a 22 cartridge loose in your vehicle. I find them all the time in places I wouldn't expect.yep sounds like jersey. least ya got it back.
That’s just dumb. Especially if he was doing it near the Market waiting for a bus.I think the biggest thing is actually using it for a suitable purpose.

Ain't that the sad truth, I told my brothers the prices of my Cold Steel knives, and they thought that was too much. I told them my high point for buying knives ($200) and they told me I was crazy! Well, the joke's on them because I purchased my first 100$+ knife! (They're probably right, but that's not the whole point of knife collecting)Besides, no one will be impressed that you spent $500 or $1000 on a knife.

Brothers are like that. Mine are the same. They used to say the same things about my buying Colt revolvers. Now some of those $300 revolvers are worth $3000 or more. I can't say that about most knives however which is why I have always said spending money on knives is pouring money down a black hole. You do it because you want to. That said, my brother in law bought several knives made by Bill Moran when he was actively making knives and sold them later for thousands each.Ain't that the sad truth, I told my brothers the prices of my Cold Steel knives, and they thought that was too much.
