Alright Beckerheads, I need some input....

Outdoor stuff for which I'm currently in the market...
1. BK-11 scales
2. Some sort of large, decent tarp for my hammock - not sure what kind yet. Still shopping.
3. A Filson Double Mackinaw Cruiser. One day my Paypall account is going to synch up with a decent looking big guy Double Mack on ebay. :D

The 6PX is a sweet light, it 200/15 lumens and like $60.00....

jetbeam makes a couple models with 300+ lumens for similar money...

355 lumen Jet-III i've seen for $65-85 on various sales

they've got a SUPER slick setup now on a couple models with a magnetic selector ring, either pre-programmed brightness levels, or a NEW one that continuous - a dimmer if you will... 0-255 on one model ($80-$100), and 0-310 or so on another (sold out - cough)

oh, and ***1200*** lumens if you wanna get sick ;> or 750+ for $120-140ish? sick.

now, the cat's meow if you flashlight can take it, are the new lithium rechargeable batteries. whoa - dude. love those things. not going to be buying 123s except as emergency shelf backup (got like 3 boxes waiting in the fridge ;>)

I have more than one Surefire, Streamlight, or Fenix. I like that it is all metal, runs off cr123's, and starts on low mode.

In summary I need to have all the guns, knives, and lights I can get...ALL OF THEM!
 
I've had a few problems here and there with Surefire and there customer service it excellent.

Keeps me coming back...
 
Thanks. You just made me do an inventory and I'd say that I'm set up pretty good. Got the tent, sleeping gear, back packs, too many hawks\knives, cooking gear, stove, etc. blah, blah. What I still want need is a BK-9 maybe, or an ESEE Junglas. More Ka-Bar micarta, and I'm feeling definite machete lust. As in a Condor 18 inch El Salvador or 17 inch Parang, maybe both. I have mag bars and firesteels all over the place. So what do I need, well, what I really need is to use what I have and get better at it. Which is great fun and done on my own terms. Interesting avatar stance B.T.W. ;) :D

The reason for this, if you haven't guessed yet, is that I have worked out a discount with an online gear store. This is a Beckerhead exclusive deal, that will work with a coupon code that will only be active for a short period of time. Like 3 days. The code is not to be given out to anyone other than Beckerheads, and since we know exactly how many Beckerheads there are, we will know exactly who uses it. The discount will be on items in the categories listed, but will not apply to everything in the store.

I want to reinterate, this is an exclusive BH thing. The code is ours, and only ours and if we misuse it, or spread it over the internet, you can kiss any future deals goodbye, as well as your BH membership, should we discover who leaked the code. If this goes well, expect many better things to come, but this is a trial run, and I hope it goes real well.
