What a wonderful idea.

I don't have a yellow nut, but I have some others so this isn't an entry. I carry one of these in my pocket for every shift at work, some of the other lads carry crazy tactical thingies, but I hardly ever see them use them (watching someone try to open a small letter with a big Bear Grylls type serrated edge knife is rather funny). My peanuts on the other hand, get used all the time. :)

This is kind of embarrassing to admit but I truly do not own a peanut yet. Needless to say I need to fix that soon. Anyways, thanks for the contest. I think I will take you up on the offer and join in on your contest. Thanks for the chance...

Oh man, what a generous offer! I don't own one, never have. One was owned by my father in law, who was very much a second father to me. After his passing , his sons (rightly) got to keep his knives. I'd be thrilled to have one if my own. Thank you.

I already own a ss yeller nut i ordered it in cv but someone messed up o well. My knife influence besides all of you is my grandfather he gave me this as my first knife the summer before first grade. If i win i will do a gaw of my ss yeller. Heres the one that started it all

Barlows are probably my favorite slippies, a love engendered by my grandfather's gift of a bareheaded jack years ago. I've never head a 'nut, though, and I'm open to being converted. Little knives and doglegs have both been on my mind of late. So . . . I'm game!

I would love to give the knife to boy in the family who is just starting high school and to turn him on to using knife for the outdoors - not when he is in school. My influence for this would be the Jackknife stories. :cool:
