Always two there are, a master and an apprentice. A giveaway

not a nut owner either

nice opportunity and doubly so as its rare for give aways to be open to us outsiders :)

cheers for that

Im in- for the chance i thank you. Only folder is a blue sodbuster SS. Greatly appreciated is your generosity.

Thanks for the chance. For some reason the peanut always escapes it's opportunity of me picking one up, almost did out of curiosity a few times but always decided against it.

I've never owned a peanut, but I've always been intrigued since I started looking at this forum.

I definitely get the small knife love, I carry my #22 pretty much every day

Please count me in, thanks for the chance!

Believe it or not, I don't have a traditional knife. I have an older Swiss army knife if that counts.. but I would love the opportunity to start a collection with a legendary traditional knife such as the peanut. Seems like an amazing edc knife for a guy like me that lives in the city. I'm often reluctant to use a knife due to the fact that people often freak out and I think a Case Peanut would be a good knife that might not give the little old lady at the dinner a heart attack. Thanks for the giveaway, sound like a great knife and congrats in advance to the winner! :)

I would love a case peanut. I'll actually be studying abroad for a bit and the knife laws there are fairly strict, and the peanut fits the bill perfectly. I would love to hold one in my hands. Thanks for the great giveaway.

A wonderful gesture, Dan. I'd like to be entered. If I were to win, the peanut would go to my Dad. He carried a yellow 'nut for years and years, only to have it confiscated when he forgot the little guy in his pocket when he had to go into a courthouse for work. He was really broken up about it. I gifted him a sodbuster to replace it, but I know he still misses that knife. He and my Grandpa were my biggest influences when it came to carrying a slipjoint, but I'd also give a big nod to Carl and Charlie (Waynorth). I never figured out how to free-hand sharpen until I watched Carl's instinctive sharpening videos, and I never knew about the wonderful world of Boy's knives until I saw some scans from some of the beauties in Charlie's collection. All the regulars here, though, keep me on track and appreciating these wonderful, simple knives!

I recently discovered a newfound love for traditional knives. I do not own a peanut...............yet. Put me in please. If I win I will pay it forward with a giveaway. Thanks!

I'm in! I have recently started expanding my horizon to the traditional side, I have picked up a Missouri Trader and a Copperlock in the last couple months, I am curious to see why the peanut is so handy, and how well is disappears in your pocket :)

Not an entry Dan, just a thanks for the generosity and sharing of the cult of the knut.

I have several peanuts, Case, Queen, Schrade, Colonial and a few others, I've never really warmed up to them, great little pattern but with all the stuff that sits in my pocket it gets lost.

I've carried small blades but usually on my keys, funny part is the knife that does the bulk of my day to day cutting is smaller than a peanut with a blade les than 1" but it hangs on a ballchain necklace around my neck.

Good luck to everyone, I'm gonna go throw my Queen Peanut in Winterbottom bone in my pocket tomorrow and give it another go. :)

I'm going to pass on this one because I have a handful of peanuts already and it would be good if someone that doesn't have one could win this giveaway. The Case CV yellow peanut is as classic as it gets. Thanks for the giveaway.

I currently don't own a peanut, but I am interested in seeing what all the fuss is about. I don't know that I'd say I really have any knife influences, I just remember getting hooked on them when I was young, after seeing some of my relatives have them. I'm definitely considered the knife nut of the family, though perhaps not in that terminology. I will add that I always enjoy reading Carl's stories, and between those and spending time on this forum, I've gone from being interested in many knives, to ones that are more traditional - although I tend to lean toward locking knives, and only have a handful of slipjoints - I feel traditionals have something of a 'soul' that I can't say the same about others.

Dan, great giveaway. I already have two peanuts, and here they are.

Also, as an aside, I LOVE the Rev Harding story and the story in which the security officer cuts off the kidnapper's ear and takes the kid back. Both cool stories. What was Rev Harding's knife again?

Not an entry.
