Am I a barkaholic?????

hey all,

Well, as of today, I have exactly 400% of the amount of barkies I had last week this time.

here are the kids so far:

mini northstar with sharpshooter sheath; fox river; woodland special; and mikro canadian with sharpshooter pocket sheath.

I am beginning to worry about my checking account.... :o

Isn't it amazing! You can have a few Barkies and you say, "that Mini North Star is may favorite" then a minute later it's "no, that Aurora is my favorite" and so on, and so forth. I think that there is something going on here! Mike Stewart does something that just makes almost every one of them seem special. That's evidence of a great knife maker!

I wish you all, the best!

You've got a good start on Barkieholism! It never ends, I don;t think, though it might "taper off", as Mike said. Nice selection!

actually, I'm trading my mikro for a little creek. I've got to figure out a way to try them all out. trading is my best bet.

Brett

brett-- you're going to love the little creek.... it has go to be one of my favorite knives..:o and that says a lot.. i have waaay too many knives..

the one that i have used to belong to jeff h... it came with a nice red kydex sheath and a really cool pocket sheath, that holds the knife, firesteel and a flashlight.. both were made by jeff....

you're doomed...... :D

You poor sicko... there is only one way to restore your psychological balance, which is to send me one or more of your Bark Rivers, preferably the Fox River.

I recently became afflicted- Aurora, Golok, Slither(on the way), had a FR and am trading it for a Little Creek. Jonesing for a Mini North Star. Have some Gossmans, NWA's, a Koyote and soon a Stomper- they all tease each other but no serious fights yet... :)

I understad about the addiction to barkies, since I have been active in this forum which is about two month's.I have aquired a Northstar,Bravo-1 and have a Aurora on the way.I think I will go for a smaller one next.

Congratulations on a nice growing collection of Barkies. Very nice.
It is an affliction many of us seem to share.
Over the last 10 months I have aquired a Fox River, Micro Canadian, Bravo-1, Pro Scalpel II LE, and most recently a Golok with Baldric rig. The FR and Micro now hang on the baldric with the Golok, making a great field trio with no need to tie up a belt.
Congrats again, and keep on checking out all of them you can. I'm going to. Hehe The hunting bowie and Rouge are calling meeeeeeee.;)

I'm really looking forward to getting it. It looks to be the perfect size for a small utility knife.

Again Mike, I blame you....:)

Great score Brett
Yes BRK&T are great knives and Mike Stewart is a great Guy,he set me up on the Bravo-1 & PSK I have now...I also have a North star and Mikro Canadian as well....4 for me and still looking to buy a few more, just can decide which ones...and I know as soon as I do the Green RC's will hit the shelves and I'll be short cash.....LOL !

At one time, I had about ten or twelve Barkies, and only used one of them. Right now, things are tight, and I am picky, and only have one Barkie, but I want to get some of the same ones back later on. I have tried out many different models, and one I miss the most is the mini Northstar. I've had two Sandstorms, the Woodland Special, the Gameskeeper, Northstar, Wolf River, Highland Special, mikro Slither. I've had so many I can't even remember the others. Anyway, they are great knives, I will be getting them again when I get back on my feet in the checkbook.

Brett...I understand. :D
