Am I a barkaholic?????

I traded for a little creek, and I'm now IN LOVE!

A2 steel, 2.7 inch blade. Red micarta handle. I'm now officially in love.

nice!

Brett, those Little Creeks are something else. I have one in a McKnight grind that has a swedge on top in gorgeous Amboynia Burl. Just watch when you carry it in that pocket sheath in the summertime. The sweat will permeate through and you will get surface rust on that A2 blade. Keep a light coat of mineral oil on it or get a Blackwater Boot Knife. Similar size as a Little Creek and 12c27 Sandvik stainless steel.

Little Creek. S**t. What are you guys doing to me and my wallet? Now I want one!

I just traded into a LC First Production Run- LOVE IT already. It has been in my pocket from day one. Neat little swedge, just a dainty thing that looks like it could split bricks!

Good trade. Those LC's are sexy little blades. Mine has walnut scales with brass pins and is for sure one of my favorites!

Man, I have just updated my want list. Bills officially suck!

Lesseee, looking at an Aurora, Fox River, Northstar, mini Northstar, Highland Special, Woodland Special, Scout, Snowy River, Colonial Patch and Mountain Man.

Lessee, how many of these have I owned before?:D

Hey Mike,

Is your LC a proto? It looks like it's got a little more belly than mine.

Ressurecting this thread cause I just pulled the trigger on a Canadian Camp Knife to go with my Canadian Sportsman II.

I attended a Custom show in Denver this weekend looking for a "camp" knife or a "bushcraft" style knife (Think BRKT Aurora, my next purchase once the Canadian Camp gets here).

Nothing quite fit the bill although there were some beautiful knives at this show. All the custom makers were awesome, approachable and genuinely good people. I just couldn't justify dropping eight bills on a knife that I was gonna' baton through chunks of firewood. Maybe in my next life I'll come back rich and handsome and can afford to go wild at one of these shows.

So God Bless all those custom makers grinding away in the shop and on the road...and Hooray for me I got another Barkie OTW!
