Am I the only one that thinks the PM2 is.....Meh.

Reading this, I realized that both my Military and my Para just sit in the safe. I don't think I have carried either of them in months. They will probably wind up on the chopping block, and be sold.

Finally got my first mili the other day and its easily one of the most comfortable knives i have ever held. Only problem is it makes my para 2 look small :D

The Para 2 and Millie are my favorites, but I kinda feel that way about the Manix 2. I've handled a regular Manix 2, which wasn't appealing to me, mainly because of the lock. I've also carried a Manix 2XL, which is a great feeling knife in my hand, but, again, the lock feels awkward. I guess it's whatever you get used to. "To each, their own"

I can relate. The PM2 was my first folder and I kinda… eh… it's a nice knife and all, not my cup of tea though.

New to the forum, but not to the knife world. Hi everyone! Sorry in advance for the length... For about the past 20 years, I've been mainly carrying a Benchmade / Emerson CQC-7 Tanto. I freakin love that knife, and no matter what I've gotten since, I always ended up back carrying it. I love the tanto blade, so it was hard for me to stray from it when looking for a new EDC knife, but decided it is time to retire the Benchmade from its daily duties, and move to the backup spot in my EDC bag. It's lived a long, hard, well used life, has always done me right, no matter what I've thrown at it, and still has zero blade play.

After much window shopping and size/spec comparisons, I decided to try the PM2 in black / black. Since I also have a ~20 year old Spyderco Police, I expect the PM2 to last a long time. The PM2 was the one that fit more of my requirements than any others I was looking at. It showed up the other day, and I'm highly impressed. No, it's not my perfect knife, but it is a lot nicer than I was expecting. I really like the ergo's, the lower choil to choke up securely, easy deployment and closure, and razor sharp. The large spydie hole is really nice, but at the same time, I wish it didn't cause the knife to be as wide as it is. Such a comfortable knife to handle. It's now my new EDC, and I don't see myself wanting to retire this one for a while.
