An ambitious folder.

Sorry to inform you that the price now is 295.00 Euro.

The production is already started. In these days we are milling the Titanium.

Gianni/Moletta,

Well, I went back thru the thread and saw that you didn't really need the 150 minimum order.
So sad. It is a very beautiful knife. In fact my friend and I would have purchased one, but I just discovered this forum a little too late, I guess.
Good luck on the production, and keep making beautiful knives. :)

If you EVER make a smaller version of this knife with a less than 3" blade, PLEASE put me on the list!!!

Sorry about that my friend. I am just excited by this knife. It seems really interesting to me in it's design.
giannip68,
I have a question. Will these knives have any serial numbers indentifying the limited run status of these first ones? Seems like a cool way to identify the first run ones from later ones.

Any updates? How are they coming along? I never was able to tell how easily the blade steel will rust?

Molleta, how is the prototype holding up? Does the blade steel hold an edge for a long time?

Thanks!

I think I need a little more knowledge about the knife and be kept up to date a little better to put up 390E to some random paypal address.

That's the understatement of the year.

Thanks, but No thanks.

The knives are being made by Lionsteel which is a well known Italian maker. They have made knives for Spyderco and other big name US companies. There is no worry of getting ripped off by some fly by night scammer company.

The price is inline for a knife with these materials and craftsmanship. They were a deal at the original 195 euros which was about $270 when I bought mine and is still very fair at the current price. It is about the price of a Sebenza now, yet requires much more machine work. I think once the first run gets into the hands of consumers they will become quite popular.

Hopefully we are only a few more weeks out until they ship.

Just discovered this recently, and missed the discount on it.
But I knew I needed one; especially after going through 17 pages on this thread!!

Just placed an order on lionsteel!!! The wait is killing me now.

I figure it is one of the few knives that the handle is one piece of titanium instead of two slabs and that is available for purchase. Actually, the only other knife I can think of is the Scott Cook Lochsa which is nigh impossible to find in my price range. I really wish I had ordered two :(

the pruduction is running... but I do not understand if I am producing knife's Titanium body or Titanium chips....

That is a beautiful sight!
I can imagine that this production method with the mono frame would definately be chip intensive.
I look forward to these a lot!;)

:) Nice pix, thank you for posting them... Now, I know that's just the scrap pile, but I'm starting to get excited about these folders!!

Any updates and/or new "in progress" images of these folders? :)

Yeah, yeah! What's the status? Any idea of shipping date?

Can I get mine without the holes on the spine/backspacer area? You get to save cost and I get a stronger frame on an already crazy strong design.
