An ambitious folder.

I just try not to think about it and hopefully one day soon I will get a package with some customs stamp on it.

I bought two of the tumbled natural titanium finish and I can't wait. I saw where it looks like they will be making a cheaper aluminum version at some point down the road. I don't know how much it is but feel that you are getting a lot of knife for the original ~$270 price tag. A 100 bucks cheaper than a Sebenza and a lot more time, effort, and innovation going into it. Hopefully buying 2 of them was a good move. If I love it I bet it is only going to get more expensive so I saved some money plus I got free shipping by buying 2.

The wood box it comes in is so fancy I can probably show off the extra in a lit glass cabinet that is in the living room. That will be a first for me.

I don't speak Italian but from what I can tell from the lionsteel website forum posts they should be finished end of this week or the week after Easter. It would be nice to get an update since we are past the anticipated completion date but I know it is hard to set a definite date on a complex knife run like this one. I would rather wait a couple extra weeks and they take their time and do it right.

+1  I'm really looking forward to mine also, but I totally agree. :)

Yeah I wish I could have bought two, I really wanted a purple one as well! I would be down for an aluminum one too.

Heck, I wish I could have bought ONE at that price. Found out a couple of weeks too late.
Too rich for my blood now. Would have loved a purple one.
Oh well, perhaps if they offer an aluminum version or a smaller version, I'll get the head's up next time.... :(

Sorry for the delay ..... This knife is more difficult to produce than I thought...
In any case it is done!!... at the end of this week I will start with the delivery.

Sorry to everybody... I hope to be understood and forgave

Congrats on that to those who ordered!

I'm wishing I'd gotten one now....kicking myself for not getting one.

I joined at the end of the line, any estimate when the last ones will be completed? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that last update means they are all done. No reason to tell people they are done and then some have to wait another month. That is just a good way to frustrate and anger people.

Too bad that they didn't wait for the originally-mentioned 150 folks before ending pre-orders. Arghh! Too expensive now.

I don't think they taking orders now... They produced pre-orders and regular orders for higher price. That's all.

Correct, but they originally said they'd wait for 150 pre-orders before starting production and raising prices. They raised the pre-production prices before the 150 pre-orders were filled up.

Yes but we would probably still be waiting as I don't think even now 150 have been sold? I know you can go to the Lionsteel website and see how many were made. I'm surprised they didn't make the full 150 to sell as they were found out about. I know they are planning on making more as they already have an aluminum model made as a prototype.

Edit: It looks like 127 were sold.

The regular price is about what a large Sebenza goes for. Seems more than fair for what you get.

I know it is going to be a big beefy folder but with a blade 4.5mm thick I hope it isn't too much. I'm not sure I have ever heard of one that thick in a folder.

Gianni, are we going to be notified when these get shipped?
I still haven't heard back from you about that shipping address change request I sent you, my order still shows the old address on your site...

Sorry for the misunderstanding... I have said that we were going to produce 150 pieces and kept a lower prices till a determinate date. Never said that the lower prices were for all 150 pieces.
I remember that i have changed the expiring date, moving it ahead, in order to let orders all the Blade forum users.

From my webside you can read only 127 pieces sold, but in this moment there are no pieces available.. all the others are sold to dealers.
I have more order than knives

Just today I have started the second production run.. other 100 pieces. They will be ready in July.
