An idea about Multi-tool, would you like it?

Wow Zhasl !!! You are my Hero !! :D

Myself (and I'm sure many many others !!) have had ideas/dreams of building a better Multi-Tool ...... you have actually gone a significant way in achieving this !!

Would love to see some simplified pictures and a list of all the features on the tool ..... I'd hate to think you left out a function that I would need !! ;)

As you have mentioned, Quality will be of utmost importance - if you can make a tool with Victorinox level of quality yet at a far lower cost than anything else on the market ...... you will become very rich and famous !! :)

I wish you all the best and hope you will gather as much input/feedback from us on this Forum ...... the Perfect ECD Multi-Tool may be close at hand !!

Zhasl I was just about to buy a sog powerlock but i'd rather wait and see how everything plays out with you...(i realize this could be a while)...I second that request to see all the available tools on it...

Seems like a long, long time mate. I say go buy one now and just wait 'til the product comes out, if they even consider the ideas.

Do you know that locking blades have been thought of by Leatherman in the 70's but only implemented in the mid 90's. The Crunch took four years just to design. I say the average turnout for these products, from brainstorming to design to prototype to production to marketing and distribution, is about 3 and a half years. So go on buy one now, 'coz it might take longer form them to come out with new tools with all the whizbang we users can think of.

All true ..... but that is how big business in the USA/West works ..... very slowly and with a mind to not give the consumer everything at once - keep them wanting a bit more so they will keep buying your product next year !

If Zhasl finds a small manufacturer in China - he could be shipping these out in 6 months !! :D

It needs more long time to improve the quality of mechanism in China, so it is diffcult to find an appropriate manufacturer in China. But I still try to find a manufacturer.
