An idea

It's cool, Todd. Not the spirit I was looking for at all. I'm no Jim Jones. Just wanted to spice things up, that's all.

Hmmm.... I am not much of a follower. So I'd be sitting this out.

Still posting and buying John's knives of course.

The "single mindness" of the majority of the R.A.T pack posters sours the whole idea for me.

This is,of course, just my opinion. The majority of the posters in John's rented room of Spark's house are stand-up guys who know good steel. Even if John didn't make it.;)

I kinda share Todds feelings on this, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested.

It would just be cool if we could do something without making us looks like a bunch of koolaid drinkers!

Maybe we should make it that you have to have a custom knife from John AND somebody else, that way we can't be snobs? :P

In response Todd, maybe less of a club of "followers" as you see with RAT and others, and more of a fan club. I'm not describing this very well, but more of a hey, I like JK Knives. Plain, simple, low key, but visible. Less of the "I LOVE JK KNIVES, JK KNIVES RULE, JK'S ONLY!!!!!!" annoying single track type followings you see. Does that make any sense?

keep it simple, low key, and polite.

That's my idea, C. You got it, well said. I am not a rabid follower of anything, I just dig John's stuff over the way too many knives I own.

Yep, I'm into the low-key approach. Would be happy to add a little something to my sig line.

Best,

I've always been much more of a Delta than an Omega.
I like a big campfire where everyone's welcome.

Just my opinion.

How about " The JK Junkies !" after all they are an addiction !

Hi pitdog -

I like JK Junkies - that has a nice ring to it.

Remember asking Stomper how to pronounce his name?

How about the K-dashers?

I like JK Junkies better I think. My three and a half-cents (inflation).

I like the idea of adding the JK supporter to your sig, and perhaps a list of the JK's that you own. Simple.

Also, I think it is ok to be a fanatic of something or someone, especially when they show the class and hard working family man persona that Stomper has shown. I'll drink that kool-aid any day.

best regards -

I'm with a few of the others...the more fanboy it feels the less I dig it. Just not my cup of tea.

How about "Connie's Clan" since she has established herself as the true boss of JK Knives? :)

- Truthfully - I like the idea of everyone being a part no matter if they own or not and not having restrictions.

I'm all for something like this.

Thanks for putting into words what I didn't really know how to say!

EXACTLY. I'm not a rabid fan of ANYTHING. Those of you who feel that I am somehow trying to start a group like that, rest assured that I would run the other way. If I can help John sell more knives, get noticed, etc. I'm down.

This idea is just for fun. If it feels like an exclusive club...well, if owning or wanting to own a knife by John are the only criteria...ok. If you are shying away, hey, it is just an idea and it doesn't need to happen.

I don`t think owning one of my knives is nessessary, it would be good to just be interested in them. I`m all for fun, a lot of the topics here are fun. I would like to see it happen. I would like to see more than the 10 or 12 regulars on here stopping by.
