An idea

I agree. That's why I put wanting in there. If there are over 600 fans with rat #s, and we can guess that most have at least 1 knife at let's say $100, I'd say this could be a good thing. It's starting to feel strained, like people think I am trying to whip up a frenzied cult. Not true.

Don't think you're trying to make a cult at all, I sure didn't mean to come off that way. I think C Bryant hit the nail on the head with "keep it simple, low key, and polite". That says so much I just added it to my sig.

I think that line says alot about John and his work.

I say go for it! Rockwolf, you can oversee it, and it looks like udtjim offered to help too. I don`t care what kind of knives guys are interested in, they are all welcome here. Heck, I used to have a huge Busse collection, back when I had the money, I was even inducted into the Hogs Of The Round Trough by Jerry himself a few years back in Chicago! I still love Buck knives too, so we won`t be exclusive. Steve, it`s your ball, run with it!
 
I like the idea of it being inclusive rather than exclusive. Whetever is decided on, I'm in.
