Well Reuben set up an overnight backpacking trip in the angeles forest. We left yesterday afternoon. The day was HOT With about half the of the hike on the exposed cliff.
We stoped for some bagels and creamcheese before the hike. As soon as we set down a SAR showed up then every truck that they in the fire department. They even got one of those long ladder trucks down there. With the rear steering. Mind you a Honda would get a tight fit to turn around lol. The SAR were getting ready for a long hike just to find out the older man was less then 100ft away sitting on the rocks.

We found some shade to rest and get some fluids in our bodies. Now the only reason you see Reuben smiling was that he had the lightest pack at 16lb...

Great hike with Awsome guys. But i got to give Ray the most points as we drove over 3 hours each way to join us. At the end of the hike we already started to talk about the next one. I think that i had the most heavy pack of the group and got lots of ideas on how i can reduce atlist 6lb but more then likely i would get rid of 10+lb.
I got to say you meet the nices and coolest people on WSS.

Lol, with Sasha, it's a good bet you are gonna eat good, and probably try something new.

So, what tents are those? I'm currently looking into getting a solo tent.

So what kind of salami or sausage was that, Sasha? I love stuff like that and am always looking for new to try.

And I want a pack like Bear's.
