I received my 97 in maroon micarta. It’s as long as my Code 4! What an awesome pattern and the blade shape is outstanding. Draw cutting at its best!

It's a massive pattern, I think it is very much an 'acquired taste' type of knife. Too much for my pocket anyway.

I agree. Interesting though...there was a massive demand for the 97 and they are making a LOT of them. One might think the hype would correlate.

Problem some overrun on the club knife.

I still can’t get around the double pulls. It looks ok closed but when the knife is open it ruins the lines for me.
That said, I’m a big fan of that spear shield and the jigging looks great so I may need to reconsider.
Compare that to the bone Tidioute I have on order. It looks like my 5 year old ran the handles through his Play-doh machine.

It feels "significant" in the hand I love how pinchable it is though reminds me of the 43 w&t. Just a little too big for me to carry often but that thing is a beast and feels terrific to use.
