Tsismi, the of all the joy these posts bring to the poor old toothless folks who have nothing better to do than hang around forums like this. Surely you don't really want to deny them a few smiles? That would be unspeakably cruel.

I guess it was inevitable ainnit?:D

Harry you may be right. Tsimi is being a real Skunk over the Bowie. I may get so stressed over his bitchin about it I may never get it finished, actually hope to be able to let Uncle Bill take it back to Reno after the khonvention, but depends on how I feel, Really.:D The Bowie is in the magazine rack right next to me and shouldn't take long to get it finished when I get started on it.
I'm having trouble trying to decide which kind or style of handle it should have. I do know that I would like to have the handle swell up the guard and yet be as wide as the guard on the sides. The Big Problem is getting the correct style with the Right Length.
If it's not long enough I'm afraid it won't balance properly and we all know that a good fightin Bowie should balance right at the guard or 1/2" either way to make it "feel" light in the hand, But at the Guard is the most desireable!!!!
That's my biggest concern and the biggest reason I have been dragging my feet over it. But I suppose it will sell no matter what, But I would like it perfect as possible!!!!:D

The new computer is up and running and I'm posting from there now. Just as soon as I get a few more things figgered out I will send everyone my new e-mail address. Just don't want to mess with that over here until I get everything transfered from WebTV.
I'm enjoying the new speed and most of all the 17" screen that does NOT Flicker!!!!!
And I'm also enjoying the added capacity. I put my thread length back on forum default instead of 5 posts to a page!!!! And another really nice thing is the clarity of the pix online. I can actually see the detail now!!!!:D

I should add that once you're done with the Bowie, send it up to me so I can give it a serious safety inspection. As HI Safety Officer, it is my solemn duty to ensure that this Bowie is safe for Tsimi to use....

After all, we wouldn't want to see a new thread by Tsimi describing how he seriously wounded himself (unintentionally, of course  ) in the unmentionables....;) :D :D :D

Yvsa, let me be the first to welcome you to a whole new level of fustration.

I knew when I said"SKUNK" I WAS IN TBL! NDN is just dragging his feet,"ON PURPOSE"! I even have a name for the Bowie,"THE METHUSELA BOWIE" cause that's how old we will be when we see it!:D Koz, I really worry about you! "I" DON'T NEED "any" HELP FROM A CRAZY SAFETY OFFICER!

I hope he got lots and lots of rest on his vacation.....he'll need it.....not that it will help much:rolleyes:

Well, I see that my brothers have been busy in my absence. ;)

Yes, it was a relaxing time hiking the Deep Creek and North Shore areas of the Smokies. A great respite from work and the so called "real" world. In two years I hope to escape (there or somewhere similar) permanently.

It was difficult to leave, but at least I had returning to the Cantina to look forward to.

Thanks for thinking of me while I was away. :)

Pax,
I can relate to the "little chicken hawk"look'in for a chicken!
They try "anything & everything to confuse him but "HE WINS"!! Play with that"Blues,Wal,ac & Pax"!;)

Well, if electro-convulsive therapy and insulin shock have been known to work on depression, maybe anvil therapy is a possible means to break thru Tsimi's denial?

Serendipity strikes when least expected. Hang on Tsimi, we'll save you if it kills you!
