I just learned HOW nice this forum and its members really are (...again) :) It's a real pleasure to be here and participate. Thankyou to Uncle Bill and all the HI forumites!

Bill,

You hit the nail on the head. Every day I visit this forum I'm thankful for the good friends that I've gained since becoming a regular. There isn't a finer group to be found.

And lest anyone think that things were getting a bit too "heated" earlier, be assured that the participants know it was all in good fun and that the teasing was just that, teasing.

(And now back to the games...whenever or if they begin again)

Could someone provide a fifty word synopsis summarizing the previous 800+ posts on this thread? :) :D :)

...It was a dark and stormy night, when all of a sudden, the Phantom Of The Khukura, aka Tsimi, emerged from his subterranean dwelling to wreak havoc upon the khukuri faithful worldwide...the rest, as they say, is history... ;)

History still being made as we huddle against the shadowy evil lurking beyond the fire, waiting for the last of the wood to burn and the death of the fire that holds him back from his vicious predation.

<--- minus 87 posts and counting.

:
I'm also thankful for the friends and family I have made
here!!!!:D
There's not another forum anywhere that compares with the quality of people that's on this one, let alone the quality of the posts!!!!

And Bro/Uncle Bill this thread loads just fine for me, not near like it was with the WebTV where I had to limit the number of posts to five per page in order to see all the pretty pix of khukuris and Cartoons and Characitures(sp) of Tsimi.;)

I sure miss the spell checker on the e-mail and document maker I have in the computer while on the forum.
It really is Magic the way it knows what I'm trying to
spell.:D
Just "shows to go you" we all have our Magic tools.;)

So, like Yvsa... are you ever going to get an avatar? Or do nefarious forces need to hack into the server and post one for you :D

Oh, and Rusty... glad you finally got your jester back up. Kinda missed that fellow when he was gone.

:
No, really I am, like you know what I mean?;)
Hopefully I will have one in a couple of weeks or sooner.

I have a pic that one of our daughters took at one of the last powwows we attended last year.
I'm hoping to be able to edit it so just my head with my headress with an Eagle Feather in it, called a roach, shows up clear enough so I can put it up as an avatar.

However there's one I wouldn't mind stealing from one of the guys, Bugs is his name, in the forums. I have seen Bugs mostly in the general forum, but I think I may have seen him in the Camillus Forum the other day as well.
Bugs has one of the cutest little Kokopellis I have ever seen.
Kokopelli is said to be a not so important God that belonged to the Southwestern Indin culture.
I kinda believe that Kokopelli was a bit more important than that.
Kokopelli was/is a hump backed Flute player.
Some say that the hump on his back is actually a sack of seeds and or seedlings. Kokopelli is/was a God of fertility.:)

And another thing I wouldn't mind having is a pic of a Red Buffalo. That fits my name.:D

Yeah, avatars here on this board are kinda small (50 x 50 pixels maximun). Then you have to consider proportions (square pix look best, rectangles the worst). So you trim and enhance as best you can and hope it looks good small...

This is the most reasonable buffalo I found
buff1.jpg
becomes
buff2.jpg
if proportions are maintained...

The Kokopellis were alot more fun

If any of these look like a reasonable temporary avatar, please use it. Can resize/enhance any of them to fit if you wish.

Speaking of giving Walosi grief

I know your on WebTV, so if you want an avatar, please let me know and I'll find something... 'Cause folks, next week my life becomes real hectic for four months so I won't be on the forums much at all.

Blues,
With "ALL" that gas, it ain't your ankles that's going to swell!
Guys,Blues became a (make that "THE") Super Moderator because,1) He loves all the attention he gets,Everyone thinks he "KNOWS" WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT! hee!2)The $$$! :D :D :D :D !

Bill:

I have one on my e-mail sig that is possibly untraceable (the site it came from is gone, but it stayed somehow). My computer (HA) expertise extends just beyond the ON-OFF button. If you'd e-mail me, perhaps you could read it and pick it off (?) Much appreciated :)

Four months of hectic ??? Here's hoping that is a good variety of hectic.

Jim, you forgot the most important reason. The women!!! ;)

The word humility comes from the latins humus which means fertile soil.

The amount of what's politely referred to as "steer manure" on this forum and especially in this thread, ensures that practically any seed planted here has just *gotta* grow like crazy.

( Have you ever noticed that the alfalfa is always greener around the cow patty? :D )
