Bring them with you! BF is the slowest forum for me too but I think it's cause it's bandwidth isn't high enough.Last year my ISP equipment bit the dust, changed to a faster service and is still too slow to get around like, I would like to. Just to get into a profile to send or answer messages can take 30 to 45 seconds to open. Oddly, BFC is one of the top slowest sites I go to.
I'd move to town, but who will feed the groundhog, bear and the other varmints?

Speaking of flashlights, at the campsite we had a while ago someone left behind a Tasco XR5. It works, it's bright enough for me and best of all it was freeIt's only rated at 250 lumen from what I looked up... not sure why everyone wants 600 or 1000... WTF are you guys doing, signaling the aliens?

I really wish I had some left so I can fry it up and make a sandwich. However it was GONE!
It was very dense, next time I make it, I'm just going to grind my own meat so I can mix it and then grind it so it stays a lighter blend instead of grinding and then mixing where all the air gets knocked out.

Vegetables and/or cracker crumbs mixed in? I usually put some onion, green pepper, and cracker crumbs in meatloaf. Lightens up that density you're talking about.

I did put some onions in, however they were chopped too large, next time I'm just gonna throw it in the food processor. It had good flavor it was just... DENSE. Also, my sister doesn't eat wheat so I couldn't throw in the crackers, I did some oats but I think that was a bad move making it more dense.

mixing PB in the sauce that you use as a glaze would be quite yummy.

That does sound dang good. Inject crunchy PB into the meat and make a jalapeno raspberry sauce for the top.
