And The Snark Goes On

Maybe a Fenix pd30?

I love fenix.

The PD35 2014 version can be had less than 70 shipped and is 960 lumens on 1 rechargeable 18650 bat, still not a huge flashlight either. Thats the one i want :D..... Not out yet but releases next week!!

The E11, E12, E15 can all be found from 25-30 bucks and are 115-170 lumens.. Still quite a bit more output than the Stylus pro. And all 3 are great size for EDC.

I really like the Coast brand lights. I EDC a coast 1xAAA that's 65 lumens. I also have a 2xAAA penlight that's 95 lumens and has the same runtime as my stylus pro that's only 24 lumens IIRC.

I'll have to look in to Fenix, I haven't really given them much thought, usually i think of them as large bulky tactical lights and weapon lights

So, my son and his ex fiancee purchased a house 3 years ago. She left him, and he's selling the house. Before they bought the house, they paid $400 for an inspection. Inspector didn't say anything about the foundation. So, he was supposed to close on it the 16th, but for whatever reason the buyer sought another financial institution, and it didn't happen. The new lender's underwriter wanted an inspection done of the foundation. This inspector said the house needs $20,000 worth of foundation work. WTF? So, now of course, the buyer will likely back out, and my son is stuck with the house. Shouldn't he be able to seek legal action? He bought the house in good faith, based upon what the former inspector said about it.

Get a different inspector.

Yea im not a fan of bulky lights either, but the ones i mentioned are not bulky at all.

I wear my fenix e11 around my neck in a kydex sheath i had made while in the woods. Doesnt get in the way at all and with 1 Eneloop AA battery it last all weekend every time.

I remember seeing something about an "official" Beckerhead EDC light, can anyone shed some light on this?

Pun intended

Yeah it was more of a poll to see what everyone favored. It was done during a streak of "official" threads.

All 3 are about the same in price out of the E11, E12, and E15

The E15 is brightest but takes a 3V CR123A instead of the AA.. AA is just easier for me personally.

The E12 is brighter than the E11 and both take AA

The E12 would win with me if i was picking a light that size now as well.

Looks like i may have a surprise coming in from dex today :D

Also expecting the Terrio kitchen knife from the pass around, didnt get tracking info but its coming from about an hour drive away so im expecting it soon!! Excited to try it out. The other reviews were great. Im sure mine will be as well. Ill put it threw cutting up 40 pounds of chicken leg quarters on Sunday :D

Love the fenix e11. I work mainly at night, so I use the heck out of it. Its been very durable and the battery lasts a good while. I didn't know it was upgraded to the e12, but now that I do I'll definitely be getting the 12.

I've got a Fenix E01 on my keychain. It's been there for a couple of years and never given me any trouble at all. Not really very bright but enough for close work.

So my dad and sister had a special request for supper, they wanted meatloaf for summer. Meatloaf is one of those "take it or leave it" things for me. I don't usually crave it, but I'd eat it if that is what I had. But I went ahead and made it for them. Started with 1 lb of 90/10 ground chuck, 1 lb of ground sirloin, 1/2 lb of Italian sausage, added in some onion and parmigiano and worchestershire and some salt and garlic:

Then I decided to "Jarebear-ize" it so I took some bacon and laid it out in a weave

Here it's all wrapped up:

And then, into the smoker!

It needed a second post because it looks amazing!

Unless there are no carpets and/or flooring, how the hell can they inspect the foundation? If they can't see it, I call bullshit on that. Never even heard of that here. Big scam here on home sales is the bullshit "roof inspection". They do that to scam a new roof.

If the floor is bare and the foundation is all cracked, they may be right. But they have to see it to know.
Oh, and I don't mean check cracking.... I mean splits in the concrete.

Is a stem wall, or monolithic foundation? That has a bearing as well.
