And the winner is.........................................

Mr. Anderson I noted you said that you didnt get paid for the previous versions of your knives, I was wondering if you and Mr. Turber will be bringing out a version of your Seahawk. I was going to purchase a Mohawk and a Seahawk from the other company but since they've done you wroung I cannot in good consence buy from them.

The Wolf Pup has been the only design where I didn't receive royalties.

(ps: Just call me Tom ;) )

HOLY MUTHA FAKKKAAAAA!!!!

The Parasite is my dream knife!!! That is exactly (well, almost) what I want in a usable knife - small and compact. I do a lot of fishing and this WILL BE MY BITCH!!!!:p

Thank you Rob for making such a wonderful looking piece. And thanks Mike for producing them.

However, I have a question: What does the sheath look like. I see no pics of it.

The sheath is being designed by me. I was not finished with it by the time the catalog was ready so I held it back. It will be injection molded and if things go right I plan to have it available so you can attach a Tek-Lok to it. I am working on a user releasable J loop now. I should have a prototype in about 45 days.

As far as the other designs I have been informed that one of our competitors may want to knock us off so I am keeping most of the designs to myself for now. Even the person who does the design may not know until the last moment that they are getting a knife produced, Ask Monty how fast things change :)

But the rest of you who entered designs and have received positive emails from me hang in there. I am working on designs for the next catalog and will be in NY on the 21st and in China in October. Meaning that there may not be much more news until then.

One thing I can assure you is you will be seeing designs from VERY famous people and several from guys around here. And for myself I am designing a set of swords that will fill a niche that no-one has yet filled, plus my sword stand KICKS ASS!

Stay Tuned!

That wouldnt be Darrel Ralph, Howard Viele and Harold Corby would they....... thats the only ones I could think of

The only thing I have is the image in Photoshop. I am amzed you guys are more interested in the stand (which will be available separate BTW) than the swords :D

Anyway it is unlike any stand on the market. I can not post a pic untill I receive and approve the prototypes but you guys should (I hope) like it.

It can stand on it's own or hang on the wall. You can also have it painted and I plan to have a special version down with a Japanese or Chinese theme on it. The center piece is round and the blades come out of it at the 12, 1, 2 and 3 o'clock positions. This should give you an idea of what I am talking about. The Long (Katana or Tachi sword will go in the 12 o'clock position.

You got a pic of the swords post it, I wanna see how much more trouble your gonna cause my savings account.

I will as soon as I finish the design. I do not want ANYONE to say that my sword looks like ANYTHING else. So you can imagine what I am coming up with.

I am also pulling on some really old Jian tradition here. I will be making two versions of the set. One with a curved blade and one with all straight (Jian) blades. I prefer straight blades myself but I know a lof of people prefer curved.

My goal is to present you with a really advanced style of blade that borrows heavy on tradion. I think I have accomplished it but you will be the judge.

but these designs look really nice, especially for the price. For the fixedblades, I'm sure there will be an after market sheath maker availablein no time to offer real concealex sheaths. That would make some of the smaller fixed blades pretty cool. I'm anxious to see photo's of the finished products.

The designs can be seen at www.wowinc.com
And some are of actual production.

The knock offs are in the pages past 10 in the catalog. The next catalog will have 0 knock offs! Told ya I would convince 'em :D

The sword will be very high tech looking with a traditional blade shope but that is about as traditional as it will be. It is really cool looking but EXTREMELY usable, unlike most EVERYTHING else that will be in it's price range.

I am shooting for the following retial prices on the swords.
Katana - $69.95
Wakizashi - $49.99
Tanto - $29.99
Stand - $14.99
Set - $149.99 with a street price of about $99.99 being realistic.

Page 10 has designs from Joe Pardue and another from Tom Anderson. The entire catalog will be up before too long.

Mike, I saw that you were on here a few minutes ago, and thought maybe you were hiding and I might catch you. I emailed you with a couple of designs and a couple of questions. I hope your mail box isn't full. You must get tons of mail the way my emails keep bouncing back to me. Well, anyway, I appreciate you keeping me updated. Thanks.
