And the winner is.........................................

I would have to remake them in Photoshop. Right now it is a dead issue anyway but I understand that a lot of this makes no since without them.

Well, I don't think you should have to go through all that work to remake them, I was just curious. I really like many of the designs. Except mabe the Toucan, just a little too much curve in the blade.

The complaints about being cheap seem a little ignorant when the knives don't even exist yet. Who complains about CRKT, Victorinox, Wenger, Old Timer, Kershaw, or regular production Case?

Mike:

I'd be happy to pass around one of the prototypes of my Wolf Pup folder that I got right before the 2001 Blade Show so folks could check it out. (That is, unless you plan on changing something other than the logo.)

Probably sending it first to the other designers who are in on this "Boss" project would be best, since they have a vested interest.

Rob, Ferret, Poboy, Brian.... you guys interested? :D

I would be interested, especially if it is a good example of the type of knives that are going to be produced.

E-mail me your address, Brian!

If Mike says it's going to be the same knife (just with a different logo), you'll be the first to check out the sample I already have. :D

Sounds good to me Tom send 'em out.

The first batch, that is already here, of the Wolf Pup I beleive is sterile. The Seven Star logo is no longer used but many of the knives are around. The BOSS name was not even finalized at that point. Which also explains the Dragon Forge name change.

Rob was shipped a Parasite Prototype and the pic in the catalog is the actual version we make. I think he was very impressed and Trace Rinaldi was one of the first to hold it and he thought it was the knife Rob made for us to copy, not the actual copy itself!

Trace will have a project with us as well, just trying to find the right mix right now.

For the full line I am creating a "story board" and we will start filling in the "characters" soon.

The first batch of Wolf Pup's is already ashore!?

I didn't know the Wolf Pup was going to come in without my name on it. I hope this doesn't cause any problems for either of us. How many of this "sterile" version are there and how do you plan to market them?

(Sorry. Guess I'm getting anxious about that licensing agreement you're going to send me. :D )

------------------

O.K. Brian - send me your address and I'll zip the prototype I have right out to you! ;)

I was at the Ontario facitlity with Mike, and the quality is THERE from what I saw!!! Especially at the price... We discussed many things, including getting some freaking masks, and eye protection for the people making these knives..
HELL these people are gonna be making knives no matter what! Least we can do is see they get SOME stuff to better thier lives, like masks, and eyes!!! Will be talking soon Mike...

Tom, I'd be interested in the pass-around as well. You can put my name on the list. If it's going to Brian first, I'll just email him my address. Thanks. Oh yeah, I think I could pick out a blade of Mr. Rinaldi's to use for the collab. I'd like to see the Wharnie version of the Gambit. Or you could just pick any of them. I really like your knives Trace.

Poboy:

I'm shipping the Wolf pup sample to Brian this week. If you give him your address I'm sure he'll pass it on to you! ;)

Hey Tom, I am not sure if there actually here or not. I have the image of a Sterile one and from that image I created the one you see in the catalog. I had to clone brush off the Seven Star on the Lile knife so maybe David clone brushed the Wolf Pup. Either way I will be there on Thursday and I am PM'ing you my cell number and the toll free number so we can talk live.

Also I have the agreement nearly done and it is now on my lap top. We will modify it there and it will become a final version by Friday. I hope to email it to everyone from there.

Brian has the pass-around Wolf Pup now, so Monty should be the next to get it.;)

Mike: Sorry if you couldn't get a hold of me over the weekend - I was out of town a good bit of the time.
