I've been really busy with finals but now they are done and I had a little free time.

The motivation behind this is that my anniversary edc by John is a little small for food prep. I wanted a knife that is great for kitchen duties but is also right at home making fuzz sticks and splitting kindling. So enter the Chefs Belt Knife.

SORRY HAVING TROUBLE posting to the picure I want to respond to. I still really like your design, it looks like the perfect knife for an urban emergency services situation. How tall did you design it, 1 inch, or an inch and a half?

Here's my addition, in before the buzzer

John's avitar photo influenced this. I know that one is 1/4" thick and chisel ground so that's different for sure, but the blade shape is similar.

4 3/4" blade & handle for an oal of 9 1/2"
1 1/4" tall blade
flat grind with a convex edge

on the cutout I drew a line where it could have a little bit of the tang exposed out the rear of the handle
