Another Buck 110 50th Anniv. tang stamp. Is it possible there is another out there?

I just received a Buck knives brochure in the mail a couple days ago and noticed that the picture of the new Buck 110 50th Anniversary addition is on the front with a tang stamp that I have never seen before. Is there any out there with this tang stamp or was it one that was just considered early on and never actually used? Just thought I would post some pictures to get some conversation going.

Same as all the common ones on regular models tho; this pic was probably just a photo shop done by graphics dept when they designed this brochure; they obviously
decided NOT to put Buck on again and a bigger Anvil with a bigger 50 in the center so blade would not be so busy!!

Guys,

There are actually 3 different tang stamps on the 50th anniversary 110. The one gedlicks posted a picture of is going to be the standard for the remainder of the year. Buck wanted their name on the blade somewhere, so a new stamp was created with the anvil, Buck and USA. The stamp with the 50 encircled by the anvil with the USA was the intended stamp originally. Buck also produced some of the 50th anniversary knives with the 2013 tang stamp. If you can get all 3 you would have a nice rare collection.

Any idea if these newest ones with BUCK are in production yet?[QUOTE=heng em;13274869]Guys,

I thought the only thing wrong with my 50th anniversary 110 was that it didn't say Buck anywhere on the knife. Good thing they added it on the stamp.

I believe they are all going to look like that from what I can find. The only accurate way would be to call Buck.

I guess the search is on. I need to find one of those with the year marked blade. The other with "BUCK" on the tang I am sure will be available soon and be in the largest quantity produced I am guessing.

Love the picture of the 3 together. That for sure answers the question well.

I saw the 50th Anniversary 110 at the PX yesterday, it is a good looking 110. I may pick one up in the near future.

I can give you a good idea...
50th anniversary 2013 date code started 4th quarter in 2013
50th anniversary 50 encircled with anvil started in November 2013
50th anniversary Anvil, USA, Buck started in the middle of February
That's about the best I can do...

Thanks heng em... Now where can we find one of each... No big or small knives stores around here...
only a Big Box store... They might get some new knives in every 3 months...

The "South American River" online store is your best price; they constantly order and replace; I have purchased 3 of them with the Anvil/50 in the last month; I will wait til the end of March and hopefully get one with the Buck/Anvil/50 stamp. Remember, orders over $35 ship freight free so buy 2 or buy something else to make it over that number!! PS: They have Thumb Add ons for knives for about $8....that was one of my add ons............
