Another Buck 110 50th Anniv. tang stamp. Is it possible there is another out there?

I saw the 50th Anniversary 110 at the PX yesterday, it is a good looking 110. I may pick one up in the near future.

Dog gone it! I was at Fort Bragg yesterday on a jobsite and didn't even think about stopping by the PX - I'll have to get back soon! OH

I just received my 110 50th anniversary. I got a finger groove version because other than a bucklite, I've never owned a 110 or 112 with the finger grooves. This thing is beautiful. Mine has the anvil with the 50 inside. I was wanting to carry it. Do you guys think the anvil 50 knives will be more rare? I'm guessing if they quit making them with the anvil 50 after Feb., and the rest of the year they have the BUCK with the anvil and 50 the rest of the year, the ones made the first two months will later become harder to find?
I guess I'm going to buy a few more throughout the year and when I get a few of the same, I might carry one.
These things are almost too pretty to carry, but too pretty to not carry at the same time.

TBH, I think they look better with just the anvil 50 and USA stamp, but I still want one of the newer ones with Buck USA on the stamp.

What medallion are you referring to ? My 110FG has the Anvil with the 50 inside. There isn't any thing else on the knife. Are referring to the medallion 50th on the handle on some of the 2013 and the new stamp? I included 2 of my 110FG 50th and a picture of one of my serialized 1 of 500.

Here is one more addition I have added to the 50th 110. I have another different one on the way and will post a photo when I receive it.
Anyone interested in the 1 of 500 or 1 of 250 can get them at Smokey Knife Works. I bought 10 consecutive numbers of the 1 of 500. Was able to get number 250 on that issue and 500 on that issue.
They only have a few left.

This image was just loaded on the Facebook page. I like that stamp and will have to get one or two.

I got lucky this morning and found one of the "50" tang stamped 110's without the medallion. Should have that by the first of the week. :)

I bought 6 of the 50th knives off of a web site last week. I have not opened all of them yet but the 3 I have opened there are 2 50 with the anvil and 1 with the Buck USA and 50 and anvil. FYI.

I just received a Buck knives brochure in the mail a couple days ago and noticed that the picture of the new Buck 110 50th Anniversary addition is on the front with a tang stamp that I have never seen before. Is there any out there with this tang stamp or was it one that was just considered early on and never actually used? Just thought I would post some pictures to get some conversation going.

Thanks! Good to know the new stamp is starting to show up. I've been keeping an eye out for them.
I like the new tang stamp much better, but had to have some with the older stamp too.

I like the new stamp better also (just arrived today) also got the 50 anvil 110 with out the medallion this morning also (on the way). Stumps we must shop at the same place. :)

I am working on getting the BUCK 110 50th with the medallion. Without breaking the rules can I ask what is the story on the 110 50th without the medallion? I am looking for the BUCK 110 50th no medallion and no engraving am I chasing something that is not real?
Thanks for the great forum.

They are real. Folks posted photos here. Not a lot of them were made like that though.

It appears that Buck started using the 50th Anniversary blade in late November 2013 so 110's built in early to mid December 2013 will have the new 2014 Anniversary blade mounted in a 2013 handle (without the emblem).

I received one of the regular handle and one of the finger groove from Buck at the beginning of the issue. Both have 50 with the anvil but no buck and no shield. You should look at that big fee/cost auction site.

Check Eb@& who charges 10% comm. To sell, or other actions that I sell at that charge 27% and 35%!

I just picked up a 110 50th without the medallion. The box code is 11/18/2013. Also it came with a nylon vertical/horizontal sheath. I thought the nylon sheaths came with the clam packs and leather sheaths with the boxed knives. Glad to have the knife so it can sit next to the one with the medallion.

After reading through all the comments about how many different 50th Anniversary Stamps and type there are for the 110 I thought perhaps a few photos might be in order. Excuse my photography, I don't have much to shoot with..
110 without handle shield and does not have "BUCK" on blade. 0110BRS-B Cat #9210 date 02/18/14
110FG without handle shield and does not have "BUCK" on blade. 0110BRSFG-B Cat #2538 Date 02/28/14

110 WITH shield on handle and "BUCK" on blade. 0110BRS-B CAT #2538 date 12/16/13
Transition 2013-2014 1 of 250. I couldn't get #1 so I got #250. Sticker reads BUCK 110 2013-2 BUJ11OT
Pilot Run 2014 1 of 500. Again I could not get #1 so I got #500. 0110BRS-B Sticker reads BUCK 5PTH A BU110FPR
1883-2013 110 50th Anniversary. 50th inlaid into what I believe is bone material. The blade has the common 2013 year symbol. I couldn't pick it up in the photo but the knife is 1389 of how many I don't know. This was a limited edition specifically for Smokey Mountain Knife Works. 0110BNSSM-B Cat #7887 Date 08/20/13 Fortunately I live within a few miles so I can check by any day to see what they have in the way of Bucks.
Haven't been able to locate a no shield 50th in the regular style 110 but I am on the watch.
Hope you like the info.
