Another Buck 110 50th Anniv. tang stamp. Is it possible there is another out there?

Bought a 110 from the South American River, dated march 5th; has NEWEST date stamp with BUCK, great price,

Finally have local stores getting them in, love the medallion.

Some seem to have the basic handle, but some like this one have a darker color. Anyone else notice that???

I have 6 of them ( 2 of each) got them at SMKW's ) and thinking about going up there to get a few more as a few of my friends buy the Bucks but they are not Collectors as they will most likely use them and I think they would appreciate them.^^

Just curious, how many people plan to carry/use these, or are most folks putting them up as collectable?

Definitely a collectible for me; I want to accumulate a few and get as many of the different ones as my budget will allow!!

Mine are all for my collecting pleasure.
I am trying to acquire two of each.
I have eleven right now and made arrangements to pick up two more this weekend.
I also ordered three from SMKW, but haven't heard anything from them yet.

I don't normally buy too many new knives, but I am having fun getting these 50th anniversary 110's.

Isn't it also time for the 112 50th?? It's been about 25 years ago since it's 25th anniversary. ;)

I'm not trying to get them all... I would like too... I wont use any of mine... I'm just going to put them away...
I'm sure I'll pick some more up in the future...

I might get one to put up, but since all 110's made this year will have the 50th marks, I'm carrying mine.

My dealer just said he can order 110T (transition) as they are available from his distributor! Must have made quite a few!

When we made the decision to produce a very specific version on the 110 for the entire year 2014, we first had to clean out the last of the 2013 date stamped blades. We then switched over to the anvil/USA stamp and went way too long before realizing Buck was not anywhere on the knife. We then fixed that but am glad the collectibles created will give you guys something to locate out there.

The balance of the year will be all like the final stamp. Really proud of this knife surviving and remaining viable for this long.

There will be a documentary on the Sportsman Channel about Buck and the 110 on April 10th. It features Dad, myself and Larry Oden

I know you guys like evidence, so here you go :)

Just noticed the nail nicks differ , more noticeable in your bottom photo.

Well, just when I thought my 110 buying days were long past, as I have enough to last the rest of my life, the kids lives, the grand kids lives, and any future great grand kids lives, I roamed into a new pawn shop a little while ago.

There this no name knife, according to their sticker, nearly totally covered up with their stickers. So naturally I had to look at it.

It is one of the 50 inside the Anvil over USA. No Buck anywhere. Thus them saying no name.

They had $25 on it so asked the girl what the least... Drive out was $21 and change after tax...

So here I am in this thread looking it up, as I had remembered it getting talked about, but hadn't really paid attention.

Anywho... Like I said, it is one of the 50 inside anvil over USA .... AND no emblem on the handles.

I get the timeframe on this one, but haven't digested the no emblem part yet. Will go back and re-read these threads, maybe ill figure it out.

Oh,,, The handles look way darker than what I have seen on 110's lately.
and this one is as new. doesn't appear to have been used/carried/sharpened.
Didn't have a sheath, but thats no problem. Just happened to have a new leather one laying around here someplace.

yeah, yeah, pics... knife porn...lol Will try to get one taken after I apply a little brasso and get the sticky off from all those pawn stickers. And no,,,I didn't tell them what it was... :D
